Esha’s POV

The day had barely started, but my mind was already spinning with thoughts of the reception. It was supposed to be a grand night, a continuation of the wedding celebrations, and I had to look flawless. My closet was already a battlefield—gowns, saris, and lehengas scattered everywhere as I debated which one to wear. For once, though, the excitement of dressing up didn’t bring me any joy. The chaos of the last few days had left me feeling suffocated.

I threw another lehenga aside and sat down on the edge of the bed. The silence of the house felt heavier than usual, and for the first time in a long time, I found myself thinking about more than just appearances or keeping up my facade. **This whole mess with Rudra, Ehaan, and Siya… it needed to end.**

The more I thought about it, the more I realized that I couldn’t keep going like this. The tension between Rudra and me, the lingering pain in his eyes every time Siya’s name came up—it was too much. I wasn’t heartless, after all, and despite everything, I didn’t want to keep him trapped in this situation.

I glanced at my phone, seeing a message from the event planner, but I ignored it. I had more important things to deal with right now.

Taking a deep breath, I stood up and headed towards Rudra’s room. The door was slightly ajar, and I could see him sitting by the window, staring blankly at the view outside. The sadness in his posture was undeniable, and for a moment, I hesitated. But i started this for my obsession but now i wish for peace so imma get what i want.

I stepped inside, my heels making a soft click against the wooden floor. Rudra didn’t look up, but I knew he sensed me.

“Rudra,” I called out softly, and he finally turned his gaze towards me. His eyes, usually cold and calculating, were clouded with something I hadn’t seen in a long time—defeat.

I sat down across from him, taking a deep breath before I spoke. "Look, I know this whole thing is a disaster," I began, my voice surprisingly gentle. "And I’m tired of it. I’m tired of the lies, the tension, and the games. We both know this can’t go on."

He remained silent, his expression unreadable, but I could feel the weight of my words sinking in.

"I’ve been thinking," I continued, my heart pounding in my chest. "If you still want Siya, if she’s the one you really love, you should go after her. I’ll handle Ehaan. I’ll make sure he doesn’t come back, and we can clean up this mess once and for all."

For a moment, there was silence. I expected him to jump at the opportunity, to finally admit what I had always known—that his heart had never truly been mine, that it had always belonged to Siya.

But instead, Rudra looked up at me, his face calm, and said, “No.”

I blinked, caught off guard. “What?”

“I don’t want to go after Siya,” he said, his voice steady. “Let things go the way they’ve been going.”

I stared at him in disbelief. “But… Siya is—”

“She’s moved on, Esha,” Rudra interrupted, his tone firm but not harsh. “She doesn’t love me anymore. I’ve seen it in her eyes. There’s nothing left between us.”

I was stunned. After everything, after all the chaos, the anger, the jealousy… he was saying this now?

“She’s moved on,” he repeated, more softly this time. “And I think it’s time I do the same.”

For a moment, I didn’t know what to say. The words hung between us, heavy and unexpected. I had expected him to fight for her, to cling to the past. But here he was, telling me he was ready to let it all go.

"And you’re… okay with that?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Rudra looked out the window again, his expression thoughtful. "It hurts. I’m not going to lie. But I can’t keep living in the past, Esha. Siya has moved on, and maybe it’s time I do too."

His words hit me harder than I expected. I had spent so long believing he would never let go of her, that he would always be caught up in his feelings for her. But now, he was giving me something I hadn’t anticipated—closure.

“So, what now?” I asked, feeling a strange mix of relief and confusion.

He glanced at me, a small, sad smile playing on his lips. “i throw her out of my heart and forget the memories of her in me"

"I can convince ehaan"i said determined all I need now is clearing the mess I started with my obsession yeahh I have a crush on him but he ain't worth it he is just a another guy I can find a better one maybe not with same obsession it's better to let him go I lost my interest

"I don't want her back if you can do any good tell ehaan to take good care of her"he said I can see something have gone wrong or I'm missing something

"You trust ehaan?"I asked

"Esha if you really want to help leave me alone for a while"he said stressed

It kinda hurted me i hate it when people tell me to leave

I didn't speak a word and was about to leave

"If you want is divorce I'll give it"he said

"The papers will be in your table tomorrow"i said atlast fulfilling the reason i walked in. Maybe I can't save my brother from the mess but atleast I'm saved
