Rudra’s POV
I woke up to the sharp sting of sunlight hitting my face, my head pounding from the remnants of last night’s alcohol-fueled rage. I groaned, rubbing my temples, trying to piece together the shattered fragments of the night before.
Then it hit me. Esha.
I had gone too far.
Regret washed over me like ice-cold water. My chest tightened with guilt. The things I had said to her, the way I had cornered her—I couldn’t even recognize myself in those moments. **What the hell was I thinking?**
I sat up, staring at the empty side of the bed. She hadn’t come back. I deserved that. I didn’t expect her to. **I need to fix this.**
But how do you even begin to apologize for something like that? I couldn’t think of anything good enough to undo the damage. Yet, I couldn’t just leave it like this. I had to try. I had to make it right.
I threw on a shirt and dragged myself out of the bedroom. My feet felt heavy, my mind clouded, but I needed to face her.
--------------------
I found her on the balcony of her office room, sitting with her back to me. She was eerily quiet, staring into the distance, completely ignoring my presence. The usual warmth in the air between us had been replaced by a cold, suffocating silence. I hesitated for a second, but I couldn’t back out now.
“Esha,” I called softly, walking toward her. She didn’t flinch, didn’t acknowledge me. I swallowed hard and knelt beside her chair, trying to meet her eyes. “I—uh—I need to talk to you. About last night.”
Nothing. Not a glance. Just silence.
My heart sank, and I felt a wave of desperation rise up. I’d never seen her like this before. “Esha, I’m sorry. I was out of line. I shouldn’t have said those things…”
Suddenly, she stood up, the chair scraping violently against the floor as she shoved it back. Her eyes, when they finally met mine, were blazing with fury.
“You think a simple ‘sorry’ is going to fix this?” she snapped, her voice trembling with anger. “Do you even understand what you did?”
Before I could even process her words, she pushed me hard in the chest, forcing me to stumble back. The shock of it left me momentarily speechless. I knew she was angry, but this—this was something else entirely.
“I know I messed up, okay?” I said, my voice faltering as I tried to explain. “I was drunk, and—”
“Stop blaming the alcohol!” she screamed, her voice cutting through the air like a knife. “You knew exactly what you did"
"I'm sorry for it"i appoligized
"Yeahh as you said i had a crush on you until last night but what you did made me realise your no real man but another asshole"she said disappointedly
I didn't know what to reply as I was processing
Banggg!! She threw the vase on my head and it broke and my head is bleeding.
"Aahhhhh"i screamed in pain
