Rudra’s POV
I stood by the window, watching the soft waves crash against the shore of our secluded island, a place I'd secured to be our perfect escape. Esha didn’t understand yet, but she would. Today, I’d show her just how much she meant to me, beyond the fears, beyond the control—I'd make her see that everything I'd done was out of love.
I knew this wouldn’t be easy. Last night’s confrontation had opened her eyes to things I had carefully hidden, truths I'd hoped she wouldn’t need to know. But that didn’t change the depth of my feelings. I loved her in a way that made every risk, every extreme, worth it.
Setting up this day had taken weeks of planning. Esha deserved the kind of magic that swept her off her feet, even if it meant pushing boundaries to make it happen. And here, on this island, away from everyone and everything, I would give her that magic.
---
Esha had just finished breakfast, though she was still cautious and distant. I approached her with a smile, holding out a blindfold.
“Trust me,” I whispered, my voice soft but steady. “This is a day I’ve planned just for you. No one else but us. Just let me show you what you mean to me.”
She looked at me with a mix of hesitation and curiosity, but slowly, she took the blindfold from my hand, allowing me to tie it over her eyes.
Guiding her carefully, I led her outside to where I’d prepared the first part of our adventure. “Are you ready?” I asked, my excitement hard to contain.
She nodded, and as I took off the blindfold, her eyes widened. We were standing on a dock that extended into the ocean, with a small sailboat waiting for us, decorated with fairy lights, roses, and her favorite music softly playing in the background.
“You said you wanted to have a lunch in Ocean one day,” I reminded her. “So here we are.”
Esha’s expression softened, her surprise evident. For a moment, she seemed to forget the tension between us, and that’s all I wanted—a chance to prove to her that she was my world.
I helped her onto the boat, and as we sailed away from the shore, I pointed out dolphins jumping playfully in the distance, adding an extra touch of wonder to the morning. The sparkle in her eyes was worth every moment of planning.

As the sun began to set, I led her to the private stretch of beach where I had set up an intimate dinner. A table was draped in rich fabrics, surrounded by hundreds of candles that flickered against the evening sky. The soft glow reflected in her eyes as I pulled out a chair for her.
“This is beautiful, Rudra,” she whispered, finally letting a smile reach her lips. “I didn’t know you could be so… thoughtful.”
“There’s so much you don’t know,” I murmured, pouring us both a glass of her favorite wine. “And I want to show you. Every part of me.”
I brought out the food I’d carefully chosen for the night, dishes from places she loved, places she had dreamt of visiting, with every flavor tailored to her taste.
“You remembered all this?” she asked, genuinely touched.
“Of course I did,” I replied softly, reaching across the table to take her hand. “Every moment we’ve shared, every word you’ve ever told me about what you love—it’s all imprinted here.” I tapped my chest. “You’re my reason, Esha. And I’ll go to any length to make you happy.”
---
After dinner, I led her up a hidden trail that wound around the cliffs. “There’s one more thing,” I said, holding her hand tightly as we made our way to the top. She held her breath as we reached the peak, revealing a panoramic view of the ocean under the starlit sky.
I’d set up a telescope, remembering how she’d once said she wanted to see the stars up close. “This is… amazing,” she breathed, taking in the sight.
As she looked through the telescope, I handed her a small, custom-made locket I’d kept hidden in my pocket. Inside was a tiny star engraved with her name—a symbol of how she’d always been the light in my world.
“It’s beautiful, Rudra,” she said, her voice breaking a little.
“Esha,” I said, taking her hand in mine. “I know I haven’t always done things the right way. But my feelings are real. This obsession—it’s only because I can’t imagine my life without you.”
She looked at me, her expression softening, the walls she’d built around her heart starting to fall away. And in that moment, I knew I’d done it. I’d given her a memory that was truly hers, something pure and untainted by fear.
This was love, and I’d make her see that she was worth every risk I’d ever taken.
"I love you rudra"she said coming towards me
