part 1
Calum:
"Michael, you can't expect me to go in there and face them." you said in an overdramatic voice.
"C'mon, y/n, we'll all be there with you and I'm the only one that knows, but you need to meet her, Calum's been dying to introduce the band's best friend to his new girlfriend, and if you feel mad or something, just squeeze my hand really hard or something, okay?"
"Ugh, fine, but don't be scared if I break your hand or something." you sigh, opening the door to Calum and Ashton's hotel room.
"Hey guys!" Calum smiles as you walk in the door with your best friend.
"Hey man," Michael smiles, "hey Aidey."
"Hey Michael! You must be y/n." she smiles. Damn it was hard to hate her.
"Yup." you smile awkwardly and offer your hand for a handshake (which was weird but also your natural instinct) but she goes in for a hug. You lightly hug her back, smiling at Calum over her shoulder. He smiles back, with welcoming eyes, but they appear darker than usual.
"So, where are we going today?" she smiles.
"I was thinking of going to the Space Needle since we're in Seattle?" Calum suggests.
"Sounds good to me... how about you guys?" Aidey smiles at us.
"Sure." Michael says, saving my ass.
We all grab jackets and go out to catch a bus to get there. You get to the highest you're allowed to go and start looking out over the landscape of the beautiful city of Seattle.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Calum asks you.
"Yeah." you lightly smile.
"I love it." Aidey smiles, looking out to the city.
"You know what's prettier?" he says, turning to her.
"What?" she smiles.
"You." he smiles back, kissing her. You turn to Michael and grab his hand, squeezing it harder and harder as they kiss for longer.
"It's okay." Michael says, putting his arm around you and hugging you to turn you back to the city instead of the happy couple.
"What do you say we go get some food?" Michael interrupts their little love fest.
"Sure." she smiles, leading the way to the stairs.
After a bit of Calum being indecisive, you decide to get some pizza from a local place and you sit down at a table next to Michael with Calum across from you. You all order a large cheese because it's all you could decide on and you slowly start to realize that they're being kind of hands-y under the table. You excuse yourself to the bathroom and stay in the stall, trying not to cry. It was an insane notion for you to cry over something like this, but after liking Calum for so long, it was hard seeing him with this girl, who he obviously was falling in love with. You must've been in there for a long time because you hear a knocking on the stall. You attempt to compose your voice.
"Taken" you say.
"I know, it's me, are you okay?" she asks.
"Yeah, I just got my period and I need a tampon." you lie.
"Oh here," she says, reaching over the door and handing one to you.
"Thanks." you say, taking a deep breath. You open the tampon so it makes the noise and throw it into the trash. You fix your shirt and open the stall door.
