You'd been best friends with Luke since grade school. Even when he became super famous and went off on tours you were still in touch. He'd invited you to come out and see him on tour, and he offered for you to stay with him. Both of you decided to arrive to the city a few days early so you could spend time together before the show. Everything went according to plan until you arrived to the hotel. The room that you were sharing only came with one king sized bed, not two smaller beds like you had expected. "Uh...oh. I can just go get another room" Luke said, moving towards the phone. "Hi, yes, I was wondering if I could book another room?" he paused to let the receptionist answer. "Oh, well, okay. Thanks anyway" he said, before hanging up the phone. He turned to you, "They don't have any more open rooms" he said. You didn't really mind having to share a bed with Luke, you'd been through pretty much every situation together. You'd also had feelings for Luke as long as you can remember. "I mean, I can just sleep on the floor or something" Luke said "No, no it's fine. We can just share the bed, if it's okay with you?" you said. "That's fine, yea" he replied. It was beginning to get late, so the two of you each got showered and into pajamas. You were the first in bed and eventually Luke got in. It seemed as if Luke was trying to be as far away from you as possible without falling onto the floor. "Luke, you can come closer" you whispered. He scooted over an inch. Tired of his childishness, you moved over next to him. It was now getting close to 2 am as you laid in the darkness together. "(Y/N)" Luke whispered. "Yes?" you replied. "I'm really glad you're here" he said, looking at you. "I just feel like...sometimes I'm so alone. Even with everyone around me, it feels like no one knows me" he whispered. "Luke, you are never alone" you said. Silently you moved your head up and laid it on Luke's chest. You felt his arms protectively wrap around you, and you heard a sigh release from his chest. "I'll always be here for you" you said, finally closing your eyes and falling asleep.
