After 4 months of being away from him, you would finally get to see Ashton. You couldn't even describe the longing that you felt in your chest every time you thought of him. His curly hair and the way it got so long sometimes that he would pull it back in to a tight bun. The way he would twirl it around his fingers when he had his head down and was concentrating hard on something. His crinkly eyes whenever he smiled or laughed. The way they would get wide every time they would fill up with tears before he said goodbye at the airport. His eyelids which would flutter in his sleep when he was miles away in dream. The way they closed when his lips met yours for the first time. His nose that would brush your neck ever so lightly before he attached his lips to them and nearly took your breath away. His ears which were often covered by headphones while he recorded a new song he'd written at 3 am the night before. His lips. You could go on for days about those lips of his. The way he would bite his lip when he was looking at you even when you didn't think anyone was. The way the corners of his mouth would start to pull upwards in his sleep, and you wondered what he was dreaming about that made him so happy. The feeling of his lips brushing against yours ever so lightly before he went in, finally, to kiss you with so much need and want. His neck where you'd leave soft kisses in the morning after he woke up. Where you'd place your hands when Ashton would grab your hips to twirl you around the kitchen even when no music was playing at all. His chest which would slowly rise and fall as he laid beneath you on the couch during lazy Sunday Netflix marathons of your favorite shows. The way he used them to belt out songs no matter what he was doing. His arms which held you tightly when you were upset or scared. They felt like steel walls that would never let anything in or out, and held you together when it felt as if you were falling to pieces. His hands that held yours when you were strolling down the street in public. One of his hands that would find its way to the small of your back, or around your waist. Symbols to say "she's mine". His legs which would tangle with yours while you were in bed together. The legs that managed to hold him up, even when he felt that he could no longer be strong. The legs that ran to you every time he returned home. The legs that were striding over to you right now, and the arms that held you tightly. The eyes that welled with happy tears, and the smile that never faded. Ashton was finally home, but maybe you were too.
