With that rallying cry, the group set off again, moving cautiously through the thickening trees. The forest was both familiar and alien, a maze of shadows that whispered secrets of danger and loss. Y/N stayed close to Hoseok, their heart pounding with every step, feeling the weight of the moment.

As night fell, the air grew cooler, and the sounds of the forest shifted, making Y/N acutely aware of their vulnerability. Taehyung led the way, his senses sharp, while Namjoon brought up the rear, keeping a watchful eye on their surroundings.

They finally reached a small, abandoned cabin nestled between the trees, its weathered wood blending seamlessly into the landscape. "This could work," Yoongi said, scanning the area. "It's secluded, and the walls will give us some protection."

They quickly moved inside, the dim light from the setting sun casting long shadows across the floor. The cabin had clearly been abandoned for some time, but it provided a refuge from the dangers outside.

"Let's set up some traps around the perimeter," Namjoon said, taking charge. "We'll need to be prepared for anything."

As they set to work, Y/N felt a sense of urgency pushing them forward. They gathered fallen branches, stones, and anything else they could use to create barriers and snares. The task kept their minds busy, but it also reminded them of the lives they had lost and the ones they were fighting to protect.

While working, Y/N caught a glimpse of Jungkook, his brow furrowed in concentration as he fashioned a makeshift trap. "Are you holding up okay?" Y/N asked, stepping closer.

He looked up, his expression softening. "I'm fine. Just... trying to keep my mind off everything." His voice was steady, but the pain behind his eyes betrayed him.

"We'll get through this, together," Y/N said, giving his shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "We have to stay strong for Jimin and Hoseok."

Jungkook nodded, though doubt flickered in his gaze. "I just wish things were different."

"Me too," Y/N replied, their heart aching at the thought of their lost friends. "But we can honor them by surviving and fighting back."

As they finished setting up the traps, the group gathered inside the cabin. Hoseok sat propped against the wall, his breathing shallow but steady. Y/N checked on him frequently, ensuring he had enough water and food.

Once they were settled, Namjoon sat cross-legged on the floor, looking at each of them seriously. "We need to talk about our next move. We can't keep playing defense. We need to figure out where the scavengers are based and how to hit them where it hurts."

"I agree," Yoongi said, his expression contemplative. "We've lost too much already. It's time to take action."

Taehyung leaned forward, his eyes intense. "We should gather intel. If we can find out how they're organized, we might find a way to take them down."

Y/N felt a swell of hope at the mention of a plan. "I could scout the area nearby, see if I can find any signs of their camp. I'm small and can move quietly."

Namjoon considered this for a moment. "It's risky, but if you think you can manage it, we need that information."

Jungkook looked uneasy. "But it's dangerous. What if something happens?"

"I'll be careful," Y/N assured him, meeting his gaze. "I promise. I just want to help. We need to do this for Jimin and Hoseok."

Hoseok managed a weak smile. "I'll be rooting for you, Y/N. Just come back safe."

After a few more discussions, they decided on a plan. Y/N would head out at dawn to scout the area while the others continued to fortify the cabin. They needed to be ready to strike back, to reclaim their sense of control after everything they had lost.

That night, Y/N lay awake, listening to the sounds of the forest. Each creak and rustle reminded them of the danger lurking just beyond the walls. They couldn't shake the feeling of dread, but they clung to the hope that they would make it through this together.

As the first light of dawn broke through the trees, Y/N prepared to leave the cabin, their heart racing with a mix of fear and determination. They would face whatever lay ahead, for themselves and for their fallen friends. Together, they would find a way to survive.
