After speaking with Jeha, Wonwoo trudged towards Inha’s room in the hospital. The happenings of the whole day tired him and all he wanted was to put his head down and forget the bad things that happened to him and his family. As he reached her door, Fei came up to him from the opposite side, carrying an overnight bag. She went home quickly to pack her clothes to stay with Inha for the night.

“Oppa, gwaenchana?” She asked, concerned. “Is your father fine?”

“Appa is out of surgery,”. He said bluntly as he had no energy left in him to answer her properly he just wanted to be with his wife ASAP

“Get home soon and rest. I'll take care of Inha” she said. “Let me call someone to take you home,” she said and took out her phone.

“It’s okay Fei. I'll be with her. I need her” he said, tearing up all of a sudden.

Fei dropped her bag and hugged Wonwoo which made him have an outburst. Fei patted his back to comfort him, allowing him to cry on her shoulders. The members have been her biggest support ever since she started to open up to them. Now it was her turn to show her support.

“It's okay, let it all out oppa. It's okay” she said as she continued to pat his back as if he was a child who needed comfort. A few minutes later Wonwoo was able to compose himself and he stood straight in front of her.

“Oppa, look at me,” she said, giving him a faint smile.

“You are not going to face Inha looking like a mess” she reprimanded him as she wiped his tears with a tissue.

“You've got to be strong for her and the babies. Okay?” She said and Wonwoo nodded his head.

“I will.”

“Good. Now give me your good smile and go see your wife” she said smiling for which Wonwoo gave her a smile.

“I'll come back tomorrow morning” she promised and left Wonwoo. He took a deep breath before opening and entering Inha’s room, to find Inha's father inside sitting next to her and holding her hand, both of them shedding tears. Upon seeing Wonwoo, Haram got up and quietly left after nodding at him. Once her father left, Inha laid down, her back facing him, too hurt and ashamed to face him.

Inha at first couldn't believe that Wonwoo's father was stabbed. But unfortunately that was the reality. Her father-in-law was stabbed because of her. And now she didn't know how to face her mother-in-law and her husband.

“Sweetie” Wonwoo said quietly as he placed a hand on her shoulders. Somehow he was just able to understand the turmoil that was going on inside Inha’s head. “It's okay. What happened to my father is not your fault” he assured her even when she didn't open her mouth.

“Not my fault? Not my fault?” She said turning around in a jiffy and getting up in an instant, her auburn hair wildly flying around just like the anger that was seething from within her.

“How could you say that it's not my fault Wonwoo?” She asked him exasperatedly as she burst into tears. “If only…” she sniffled as she stood her ground. Clearing her throat she said:

“If only we hadn't met each other and gotten married, your father wouldn't have gotten hurt” she said with a defeated voice as she fell down on the floor with a plop, crying and letting her emotions out.

Wonwoo looked horrified after seeing his wife breaking down. He couldn't believe that Inha was blaming herself for what happened to his dad. He just couldn't fathom it. So he immediately got on the floor next to her and hugged her to soothe her but Inha pushed him away.

“You shouldn't hug someone who is the reason for your dad's murder attempt” she said as she got up, putting a considerable distance between them.

“Please go away Wonwoo. I want to be alone” she said.

Wonwoo was at a loss of words after seeing Inha’s actions. He was angry because she never pushed him away and just couldn't believe that she wanted him to stay away from her. Even though he was able to understand what she was going through, Wonwoo knew he shouldn't leave her side just because she was upset for no fault of hers. With new found resolve he charged towards her like a horsel without restraints.

“Don't come near me” she warned him. Seeing that he wasn't stopping his movements, Inha stepped back until she hit a wall.

“Don't…”

Wonwoo didn't allow to finish her sentence. In a flash his lips were upon hers, devouring them completely after pushing her against the wall. He was relentless in kissing her, pouring all that rage inside him into a very rough but passionate kiss which Inha couldn't help but melt into it. Involuntarily she put her hands around his neck, pulling him towards her and kissed him back with equal fervour. Both of their pent-up frustrations, anger towards the forces that were making them unhappy, everything was getting translated into the hungry kiss. They've kissed many times before, but for some reason this felt different for both of them. Wonwoo stopped only when it was unable to go on without stopping for breathing.

“...kiss me” Inha finally finished her sentence after taking a deep breath.

“Too bad, I already did,” he said, smirking as he placed his forehead upon hers, panting just like her. His eyes glanced across Inha’s pink lips that were swollen now and something stirred inside Wonwoo.

“And I am going to do it once more” he whispered and before Inha could push him back, his lips crashed into hers once more, knocking her out of breath. Only when a very needy moan escaped her lips when Wonwoo nipped at her collarbone, did both of them became aware of their surroundings. He let go of her immediately and put a distance between them because he didn't trust himself.

Inha caught her breath, her whole body feeling hot due to what happened a few seconds ago. She looked at her husband who stood a few steps away from her with a bright blush on his face that mirrored hers. It didn't seem like they were parents now, but like two hormonal teenagers in love. She didn't know what to say when he finally cleared his throat.

“I am sorry. You just went through child birth and I shouldn't have done that. I seriously don't know what came over me” He apologized for his rash behaviour.

“It's okay” she replied feebly, fidgeting with her fingers. “And I am sorry for making you upset earlier with my words” she said finally gaining the courage to accept that what happened to her father-in-law was not her fault.

Wonwoo couldn't help but embrace her and patting her back. He then gently made her lie on the hospital bed and tucked her in. Giving a kiss on her forehead he smiled at her.

“Don't ever ask me to leave from your side. Because I won't. Do you understand?” He asked her for which Inha nodded her head.

“Sleep now. You need rest to recover” he said. “I'll just sleep for a bit on the couch” he said and Inha said okay, finally closing her eyes to rest her weary self. At last, the long stressful day was finally coming to an end as both the individuals got to sleep.

Hey you guys! I hope you are doing well! I am so so sorry that it took me so long to publish this chapter. I was going through a bad mental block and hopefully I can publish much frequently henceforth.

I am quite confused about something. Should I start writing other members' stories alongside this or should I finish for this one to end? It's just that I am brimming with ideas for others that I feel I might not be able to give my 💯 to this story. I am so lost so please let me know what I should do.

Thank you so much for patiently waiting and reading this story! I hope you liked this chapter. Please vote and comment if you liked it.

Thank you,
Love,
Aara.
