“Are you sure you don't want to be the first to hold them?” Wonwoo asked Inha who was standing next to him. The two nurses who were holding the babies looked at them smiling seeing the couple be so considerate of each other.

“I already held them Oppa. You go ahead” Inha said, smiling at her husband.

“You held them? When?”

“Before they snipped the umbilical cord,” she said. Wonwoo then turned around to receive his daughter first and then the nurse placed his son next to the baby girl. The babies were so small that they fit next to each other in Wonwoo's arms.

“You may sit on that chair, sir”, the nurse said, showing him a place where he could sit and admire his babies.

“Now now oppa, don't cry” Inha said sitting next to her husband and patting his back. Wonwoo, upon seeing his two babies who were still pink and small, couldn't help but shed tears.

“I feel bad that I couldn't be there when you were giving birth” he said, leaning his neck to kiss Inha’s forehead. She received it gracefully as she stroked her daughter's tiny arm with a finger. “I should have been there for you and our children. I can't imagine what you must have gone through”

“Oppa, it's okay” she still, smiling because Eunhye was now holding onto her mother's finger. “What matters now is that they are here and well. You can see them for yourself” she said. “Look, Eunhye is already holding onto my finger. Oh look Eunhan is waking up!”

The tiny baby boy was now stirring from his sleep after being in his father's arms. Wonwoo smiled as he raised both the babies to kiss their small forehead.

“Thank you for coming to us safely” he addressed the babies as he looked at them who were now awake and looking at their father for the first time.

“I think they recognise you from your voice,” Inha said.

The nurses then came to collect the babies to place them back in incubators. One more week of observation and then they can go home with Inha and Wonwoo, that was the timeframe that their pediatrician provided.

When the couple came back to Inha’s room, Ayat was there waiting for them along with her husband Taha.

“Uh, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in the office now?” He asked Ayat.

“Shouldn't I come to see my dear Inha?” She said, totally ignoring him and hugging Inha instead. “How are you Habibti? Congratulations on becoming a mother. I am sorry I should have come earlier but I had to clean up the mess after your marriage and pregnancy news broke out. I hope you'll understand my absence” she said.

“I am fine Eonni and it's okay too. Hello Byeonhosa-nim” she greeted Taha as the lawyer was present to have a talk with his client.

“Hello, hello and congratulations” Taha beamed at the couple, shaking his hands with Wonwoo.

“Thank you Hyung”

“Now how about I whisk away my client for a bit while you both have a chat” he said and approached Inha. “Shall we Inha-ssi?” he asked and Inha nodded her head while Ayat hooked her arm with Wonwoo pulling him towards the NICU. “Aren't you going to show me your babies?” She asked him while Wonwoo was a bit confused as to why suddenly Taha wanted to talk to Inha alone.

“What's happening Ayat?” he asked, looking at the two who were now entering Inha’s hospital room.

“Lawyer-client confidentiality. Taha wouldn't tell me either, but it looks like they now have a strong case against her stepmom. Thanks to her cousin, the president of the company helping them gain evidence. But I don't know where Inha fits among everything" Ayat said. By now Wonwoo had his doubts on what Inha is planning to do with her case but he had his trust on Taha that he wouldn't allow his client to do anything that will harm her.
