Third pov:
Adrian was seething with anger, his temper barely contained as he left Meera in the penthouse with strict orders to stay put. He had already arranged for Dahlia to be there with her, and a doctor had been called to check on both of them. But his mind wasn't at ease. He was furious—furious that Meera had been hurt, furious that Vishal had dared to lay a hand on her, and enraged at Lenka Walker for her part in all this.
In the warehouse—a place Adrian reserved for those who dared to cross him—he was ready to unleash hell. His power and influence had already crushed Bastien Walker's business, and both Bastien and his daughter Lenka had been kicked out of Madrid without hesitation. Adrian's ruthless efficiency when it came to protecting those he loved was unmatched. Now, it was Vishal's turn to face his wrath.
Luis had already arrived, fully aware of the storm brewing inside Adrian. Diego was there too, backing Adrian up without a word, knowing better than to interfere when Adrian was in this state. The moment Adrian stepped out of the car, his every movement radiated barely controlled fury. He ripped open the first two buttons of his shirt, rolled up his sleeves, and strode into the warehouse with quick, determined steps, his presence commanding the attention of every man in the room.
Inside, Vishal was tied to a chair, helpless and already trembling with the knowledge of what was coming. But Adrian didn't care about his fear—he was beyond caring. Without pausing, Adrian walked straight up to Vishal, his eyes dark with rage, and with a swift, brutal kick, he sent Vishal flying, chair and all. The impact was harsh, the sound of the chair crashing to the ground accompanied by Vishal's groan of pain.
"You think you can touch my wife and walk away?" Adrian's voice was low, dangerous, and filled with venom. Each word was laced with an authority that could bring anyone to their knees. He wasn't shouting—he didn't need to. His cold, deadly tone was enough to send chills through the room.
"I'll make sure you regret every second of what you did," Adrian continued, his voice quieter now, but more threatening. "No one touches Meera and gets away with it."
Adrian with one powerful kick, sent the chair flying backward. Vishal crashed to the ground, groaning in pain, but Adrian wasn't done. He crouched down, gripping Vishal's collar, pulling him up slightly so their eyes met. "You thought you could touch my wife and get away with it?" His voice was low and deadly.
Vishal whimpered, trying to gather himself, but Adrian's grip tightened, his muscles tense as his fury took over. "You're not walking out of here in one piece," Adrian growled, standing up and kicking Vishal again, this time harder, sending him skidding across the floor, his body crashing into the nearby crates.
After Diego landed a few solid punches, Vishal slumped in the chair, fainting from the pain. Adrian and Diego exchanged irritated glances, the frustration boiling within them. They had wanted answers, but now all they had was a motionless body in the chair.
"Great," Adrian muttered under his breath, running a hand through his hair in frustration. His temper hadn't even begun to cool,Diego added "We'll deal with him later. When he wakes up, we'll get the answers we need about his identity as VSP, his ties to Javier, and everything else he's hiding."
Adrian, wiping some sweat from his brow. "He better talk, or I'll make sure he never walks again," he said darkly, his fists still clenched.
Luis stood to the side, his face twisted in guilt. He hadn't been able to protect Meera and Dahlia, and it weighed heavily on him. "I'm sorry, Adrian, Diego. I failed. I should've seen this coming.I always check in on them, or Elena does. But this time... I got distracted." His voice faltered as he added, " Augustine... he's been sick, and I lost track of time between the hospital and work."
