Meera pov:

It's nighttime, and we've just arrived in Madrid—my new hometown with Adrian. Our wedding is still a secret, set to be revealed at a press conference tomorrow. The flight was incredibly luxurious, with our own private cabin where we spent the journey talking and enjoying each other's company.

Adrian's driver picked us up in a sleek SUV, and I couldn't help but stare out the window, excited to see the city. The airport was massive, full of cool shops and restaurants, and I even spotted a giant bear statue outside.

As we drove through the city, Adrian gave me a mini-tour, pointing out landmarks like the iconic Plaza Mayor with its grand arches and the stunning Royal Palace, glowing against the night sky

After a 45-minute ride, we finally arrived at Adrian's home—or should I say mansion? Oh my god, this place is massive! It's like something straight out of a movie, with its grand design and sprawling grounds. I could hardly believe my eyes as I took it all in. The lights were casting a warm glow over the front of the house, making it look even more magnificent.

Adrian was the first to step out of the car, and then he walked around to my side, opening the door with that charming smile of his. "Welcome to our home, Meera," he murmured, his voice filled with pride and warmth.

As I stepped out, I noticed a few workmen approaching us, ready to take our luggage inside. Just as I was absorbing the grandeur of the place, I heard a booming voice echo from the front porch. "Here they are!"

It was my father-in-law, Carlos, welcoming us with open arms. He stood there with a wide smile, and beside him was Camila, looking just as happy to see us. I figured it must be late since there were no kids in sight—they must've already gone to bed.

Carlos dad came over and pulled me into a warm hug, patting my head like I was his own daughter. "How was the journey, dear?" he asked with such affection that it warmed my heart.

"It was good, Dad," I replied, smiling up at him. Before I could say anything more, Adrian cleared his throat, clearly looking for some attention. "See, his son is here, but he's only bothering with my wife," Adrian mock-complained, crossing his arms in an exaggerated pout.

dad chuckled, clearly amused. "Well, mi hijo, your wife is more important now. You'll have to get used to sharing the spotlight," he teased, making Adrian roll his eyes playfully. Camila and I couldn't help but laugh at their banter.

Just then, a figure appeared at the entrance "Welcome home, Little Master," he greeted Adrian warmly, his accent thick with affection.

Adrian grinned, clearly pleased to see him. "Tío Pedro, it's good to be back," he said, then turned to me with a twinkle in his eye. "Meera, this is tio Pedro, He's practically family."

Pedro gave a small bow, his eyes twinkling with warmth. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Señora Meera," he said.

I smiled, already feeling at home thanks to their kindness. "The pleasure is mine, Uncle Pedro," I replied.

We stepped inside the mansion, and my breath caught in my throat. This place is like something out of a dream. Everywhere I looked, luxury was staring back at me—the polished floors, the grand chandelier hanging in the foyer, the intricately designed furniture. It was all so beautifully overwhelming. The grand staircase spiraled up to the second floor, and I couldn't help but feel a little dazed as Adrian took my hand and led me on a tour of the house.

He walked me through the massive living room, where the ceilings seemed to stretch forever, and the walls were lined with elegant artwork. The kitchen was a gourmet chef's paradise, with state-of-the-art appliances and a design that was both modern and classic. And then there was the pool—huge, shimmering under the night lights, surrounded by lush greenery.
