MIKHA

"And that's what happened before your Mommy and I became together," I said while softly caressing the head of our four-year-old daughter.

Today is a typical Sunday for us as a family. We would just lie on our couch, contented with the comfort and warmth our cozy home offers.

Aiah could only shake her head when she caught us in that position, hearing the same story that our daughter likes to ask from me for the nth time.

The aroma of the coffee and the pancake that my wife was holding was nothing short of incredible.

"Good morning, Baby. You've heard that for I don't know how many times already. Are you still not tired of that story?" She said while placing the tray on the table and gave us both a kiss.

"Good morning too, Mommy. No, I won't get tired of hearing your love story because it is my favorite." She adorably said.

If you ask me what happened after the confrontation I had with Aiah, well, I terminated my contract with the management first thing in the morning.

If I only knew what she was going through from the pressure of the management, I would have dropped everything without a heartbeat.

The girls were surprised by my sudden departure from the group, but I'm glad they still chose to understand my decision.

I initially plan to live in Australia for a while until the pain in my heart heals. I was not able to say goodbye to all of them in person because during those times, my mind was too clouded by regrets and my heart was broken to pieces.

I think Aiah was the only one who didn't know what I did or the fact that I was leaving. That's why I was very surprised when I was at the airport, she suddenly came and stopped me from leaving.

She was crying her heart out, begging me to stay. She was so loud to the point that even the people around us started whispering. Others secretly take pictures and videos of us.

The amount of support and love that our fans poured was unbelievably huge.

And the girls? They continue to soar high and achieve new heights until their contract ends.

And the rest is history.

As of now, aside from co-managing the entertainment company that the eight of us build which aims to help children like us who once dreamed of becoming artists, we've been preparing for our comeback and last concert as a group. We think we owe it to our fans who never cease supporting us.

It seems like yesterday since we started dreaming together. And now, we're down to our very last concert.

"Make some noise, Araneta!" Jhoanna shouted and the crowd went wild.

This concert was long overdue. It took us several years to gather and perform again on stage. The feeling is still clear in my memory as I hold the microphone and sing my heart out.

The adrenaline rush that flows in my veins is something that I badly missed.

It's nerve-wracking at the same time, it feels very nostalgic just to see them standing, waving our lightstick and singing along with us. But more than anything that causes me to feel nervous, it's the fact that I'm going to propose again to Aiah in front of thousands of people.

Exactly ten years ago from this day, we got trending because of the scene in the airport that we made. Aiah and I created a buzz on the internet for quite a long time.

Two years from that day, I proposed to her and I'm the luckiest girl on earth when she said yes. A year after that, we got married in Paris. Another two years had passed, and Aiah became pregnant through IVF. And now, our daughter Ella is four years old have grown into a beautiful and sweet girl.
