Krystal wondered what was going to happen with the Leadway investors. She didn't want she and Andrew to fight over such a thing but there was nothing she could do. She needed it so much but she knew it would be a great thing for Andrew also because he was the C.E.O now and getting an investment like that would change everything.

Krystal tried not to think of it so much. Friday was still a few days away, she thought and she didn't want to think of something she were wouldn't be able to control now.

Andrew on the other hand didn't say much about it and had only ended the conversation as fast as it began.

They both ate their toast the next morning in silence trying not to bring up the topic again about the investor again.

"How is Rita? Heard from her?" Krystal asked, breaking the silence.

"She hasn't been picking my calls but I called the house and the housekeeper said she was fine and home," Andrew explained.

"She is just too stubborn. I don't know where she gets it from," he added and Krystal laughed.

"You are the same."

Andrew laughed.

"I am not!"

"You are."

"I am not!!"

"Alright then," she said with a smile.

"When is mum coming back from travels?" Krystal asked.

"You miss her already?"

"She seems like the only member of the family who likes me."

"What about me," he said with a smirk.

"You definitely didn't like me the first time we met," she said and he smiled.

"You were too much."

"What do you mean too much."

"You literarily told me to get married to you after you just got hit by my car. I sincerely thought you were crazy," he said and Krystal burst out laughing.

"Fair enough. I would think the same about myself too if I were you."

"And then you went to spend all my money buying so many different things."

"In my defense, I couldn't find my card," she said

"You lier. I am sure you could," he said and she laughed.

"I feel it was fate that brought us together," she said.

She noticed the look on his face.

"You don't believe in fate?"

"I don't know. I wouldn't outrightly say that though."

"Do you believe in soulmates?" She asked.

He stood from where he was sitting picking up his stuffs to get going to work.

"I need to go now. Late already."

"You didn't answer my question. You are always finding was to evade questions that make you uncomfortable."

"No, I am not."

"Yes, you are."

"Bye Krystal," he said and walked away.

Krystal also finished eating some minutes after he had left. She decided to not go to work straight and planned on making a quick stop first at someplace else.

She drove straight to the apartment she had seen Lucy enter. She got down from her car and walked into the apartment.

She didn't know the particular room she had entered, so she knew she was still going to do a bit of work.
