yuwon glanced over at heeseung, his body relaxed on the bed, breathing slow and even, as if he had fallen into a deep sleep. the soft rise and fall of his chest convinced her that it was safe to make her move. she crept toward the corner of the room where jake had left the helmet and jacket, the '07' glinting under the faint light of the bedside lamp.

her fingers brushed against the sleek leather, heart pounding at the risk she was about to take—sneaking out right under heeseung's nose. the thrill of danger heightened her senses, but there was no room for hesitation. with the jacket slung over her shoulder and the helmet tucked under her arm, she made her way toward the door, her steps light, careful not to wake him.

what yuwon didn't know was that heeseung wasn't asleep. though his eyes remained closed, his heart beat wildly, faster than any dream should warrant. he could hear the faint rustle of fabric, the soft creak of floorboards as she slipped out of the room. something was wrong. this wasn't the first time he had felt her sneak away, but tonight, the air around her seemed different, charged with something far more dangerous than usual.

the door clicked shut behind her, and yuwon let out a soft breath of relief. the cool hallway stretched out before her, dimly lit and quiet, as if the entire hotel had fallen under a spell. with each step she took, the rush of anticipation surged through her, faster than her pulse. she was heading back into the night, ready to meet jake and the tokyo racers, eager to feel the street beneath her again.

outside, the night air greeted her with a sharp bite, the neon glow of the city flickering in the distance. yuwon breathed it in, her senses sharpening as the promise of speed filled her veins. she moved quickly through the parking lot, her eyes locking onto jake, who leaned casually against the black car he had rented, the machine practically purring under the streetlights.

jake looked up as she approached, a smirk already playing on his lips. "nice outfit"  he teased with a wiggle of his eyebrows, gesturing to the helmet and jacket in her hands. "you ready for the big leagues?"

yuwon rolled her eyes, though she couldn't suppress the grin tugging at the corners of her lips. "you're always so dramatic, jake."

"these guys don't mess around" he said, pushing off from the car. "tokyo's streets? they're a whole different game. you sure you're ready?"

with a sharp, confident look, yuwon slipped the jacket over her shoulders, securing the helmet under her arm. the weight felt right, like an old friend. "i don't mess around either and you know it" she replied simply, her voice steady despite the thrill brewing beneath her calm exterior.

jake slid into the driver's seat, and yuwon followed, the leather seat cool beneath her as they roared into the night, the city lights blurring into streaks of color. as the engine growled, jake stole a glance at her. "heeseung still doesn't know, does he?" yuwon's gaze stayed on the road ahead, the pulse of the city reflected in her eyes. "no. and he won't." jake chuckled, shifting gears. "good. we'll keep it that way."
