heeseung sat on the edge of the bed, lazily lacing up his shoes, but his mind was anything but calm. tonight, they were sneaking out to hit the club—rina and riki's idea, of course. no one had disagreed. it was their last night in japan, and they planned to make it count. he could already feel the adrenaline pulsing through his veins, though it wasn't just because of the night ahead. no, it had more to do with the girl getting ready in the bathroom.
yuwon.
sharing a room with her had been a blessing and a curse. she was everything he shouldn't be drawn to—his exact opposite, the kind of girl who was way out of his league. but damn, she made it impossible not to notice her. the casual glances she shot his way, the little teasing remarks she threw at him—she was driving him crazy without even trying. or maybe she was trying.
heeseung knocked impatiently on the bathroom door. "hey, nerd! you coming out or what? we're gonna be late. or should i just leave without you?" his voice was teasing, though he felt far from relaxed. he half expected her to come out in something simple and cute, maybe a little flirty—because that's just who she was. that's how girls like kim yuwon were. but nothing could've prepared him for what he saw when the door finally opened.
his breath hitched. heeseung's casual smirk faltered, completely slipping the moment his eyes landed on her. she wasn't cute. she wasn't even flirty. she was lethal.
the black corset she wore hugged her body like a second skin, cinching her waist, pushing up her chest in a way that made his throat go dry. the laces were tied tight, emphasizing every curve, leaving no room for imagination. his gaze dropped, and his heart stopped at the sight of the short skirt that barely covered anything, exposing her legs wrapped in thigh-high stockings. each inch of bare skin felt like it was taunting him, daring him to keep looking—and he couldn't stop himself. he wasn't even subtle about it. his gaze dipped down her chest, over the curve of her waist, then back up to her face.
then there were the details that finished it all off—the way her hair cascaded over her shoulders, soft and undone like she hadn't even tried, but still somehow looked like a goddess. the blood-red lipstick, bold against her skin, drawing his gaze straight to her lips, which were twisted into the faintest smirk, like she knew exactly what she was doing to him, and she wasn't shy about it. it could be because of the drinks they had with the others before they even started getting ready, or maybe this was a side of yuwon he had never seen before.
he was a goner.
"holy. . ." he whispered and trailed off, unable to help himself. his voice was barely audible, choked by the heat that suddenly surged through his veins. his pulse quickened, heart hammering in his chest as he stood there, completely frozen.
yuwon stood there for a moment, letting him drink in the sight of her. she didn't rush, didn't act coy—just stood there with that maddening look in her eyes, fully aware of the effect she was having on him. his skin felt too hot, his thoughts clouded, and all he could think was how the hell was he supposed to survive the night?
