the room was warm, with the hum of light chatter filling the space. jake and sunghoon's shared room had become the go-to hangout spot for the night, blankets and pillows thrown across the floor in a makeshift lounge area. empty sushi boxes lined the small coffee table, the scent of garlic and cheese still lingering in the air. someone had turned on a random movie, but no one was paying much attention to it.

"can you guys believe tomorrow is our last day here?" rina whined, dragging out the words as she threw herself dramatically across riki's lap. "i feel like we just got here."

"same, it flew by way too fast" saeri added, nestled comfortably in jungwon's lap, his arms wrapped around her like she belonged there. "i am not ready to go back to uni" saeri pouted and a collective groan followed, a mixture of disbelief and resignation.

"right? it went by too fast" sunghoon nodded, stuffing the last piece of sushi in his mouth.

yuwon leaned back against the edge of the bed, her gaze sweeping across the room. it had been the kind of trip that left your stomach sore from laughing, your heart light from being around the people you care about. each day had blurred into the next—late nights, early mornings, and moments that felt like they'd last forever. and yet, here they were, on the verge of their last day.

"we still have tomorrow, though," zahra piped up, sitting cross-legged on the floor. "let's not get all sentimental just yet." she threw a half-eaten crust at rina, who yelped in protest, dodging it with exaggerated movements.

"ew, zahra! do you know how many germs are on that?" rina shot back, wiping her arm like she had been seriously offended.

"please, we all shared the same pizza. you're fine." zahra grinned, not the least bit remorseful, and tossed another crust toward sunghoon, who was too engrossed in his soda tower to notice.

"watch it!" sunghoon gasped, shielding his creation as if it were a masterpiece. "this took, like, actual skill and precision. you wouldn't understand."

everyone laughed, and yuwon couldn't help but smile at the scene. it was moments like these that made this trip what it was—completely chaotic but in the best way possible. her gaze flickered over to heeseung, who was sitting across from her, leaning back on his elbows. he had that easygoing, almost lazy smile on his face, the kind that made it look like he didn't have a care in the world.

yuwon glanced over at saeri and jungwon, but what caught her attention was the way they were about to kiss, their lips inches apart. she didn't hesitate. grabbing the nearest pillow, she launched it at them with impressive precision. "hey, let's keep it g-rated! we don't wanna hear the disgusting sound of you two smooching."

the pillow hit jungwon square in the head, and saeri let out a squeal, laughing as she cuddled back into him. "someone sounds jealous."

"jealous?" yuwon raised an eyebrow. "nah, i just don't want to have to disinfect this room, and i am not jealous because i don't have someone breathing in my face." yuwon replied, tossing her hair over her shoulder with a dramatic flair.
