I can feel Sofia's body besides me as I come out of sleep. I hear her low breathing. I smell her sweet floral perfume. And, somehow, I still taste her in my tongue.

At the same time my alarm goes off. The sound feels like someone's banging right on my head. Whiskey and tequila was a bad idea. Well, maybe the whole night was a bad idea but it was definitely a good time.

I reach to the nightstand and turn the alarm off. Sofia swifts in the bed and almost groans.

"Yeah, me too" I reply as I rub my eyes.

"I'm sorry" she sighs

"For what?"

"Staying the night. I have no idea when I closed my eyes" she says

"It's ok. It's no problem" I reassure her, rubbing her arm. "I'm sorry to have to move you but I have to get ready for work"

"Oh, of course" she rolls away from me and I immediately feel the lack of her.

I get out of bed but let her snuggle against the pillow as much as she needs to. I turn the coffee machine on and go to the bathroom. When I'm back in the bedroom, Sofia is getting out of bed.

"Coffee will be ready in a few minutes. And I have painkillers in the cabinet in the bathroom" I inform her

"Thanks, I may have to take a hundred of those" she replies as she holds her head.

"I hope you don't regret--"

"The only thing I regret is the tequila. You were the best part of the night" she says as she walks up to me

"Glad to hear that" I admit and I kiss her lips.

"This may sound weird, but could you possibly drop me off a few blocks away so I don't have to walk 20 minutes to my place?"

"Absolutely" I answer

"Thank you".

I kiss her once again before releasing her. As she walks away, she takes her raven hair out of her messy ponytail and shakes her head in relief. I can't look away from her and I can feel my blood rush to my cock again. God, she's perfect.

I get dressed by the time she's back and move to the living room. On my way there I grab the shot glasses that were left on the table last night and set them in the sink. I gather Sofia's clothes from the living room floor and fold them quickly.

"How do you take your coffee?" I ask her as she comes in the room

"Black is fine" she answers.

I let her get dressed as I pour coffee in two disposable cups. She thanks me as I hand her one of them. She finishes getting dressed and we leave; I'm going to tidy the place another time.

She follows me to my car. I open the passenger door for her and see the case file which I almost forgot.

"I'm sorry about that" I sigh as I grab it

"It's ok. You should see how many missing make-up brushes or pencils you can find in my car" she chuckles

"I will have it in mind" I laugh.

I carry the file with me and put it in the back seat before I get in the driver's seat. The car already smells like her by the time I close my door. She gives me her address and I put it in the GPS.

"Were you working on that?" she wonders pointing at the file

"We're working on that along with some more urgent cases" I answer

"We?"

"The team"

"But you have the file. Do you take work at home often?" she asks
