Lately, I've been finding it easier to get out of bed in the morning. These days I want to spend all my time with Sofia. Working out of town has become so much harder than it used to because I can't take her out of my head. I'm absolutely obsessed with this woman and I love it.

She is incredible. The most amazing woman I've ever met. Every time I think I'm pushing her boundaries too much, turns out she's into it. Last week, I made her crawl to me and then fucked her in a dressing room. Three days ago, she agreed to wear a vibrator all day long to which I held the controller while I was away; her text messages where probably the best part of the day.

She truly makes everyday better and keeps me motivated. I got back from New York today and I can't wait to see her tonight. Five days apart is too long.

But a knock on my door reminds me that I'm still in the bureau and not at home.

"Come in" I say

"I am on my way out. Do you have a minute?" Dave asks,

"Sure, have a seat" I answer.

He closes the door after him and sits across from me. I put my pen down and close the file I have in front of me.

"Is that the Black Widow case?" he wonders

"Yes" I sigh

"Any updates?"

"Not really. Garcia has put out a nest to catch any new homicide that might be related. And I'm going over the 26 victims again one by one" I inform him

"Do you need any help with interviews?" he offers

"That would be nice" I reply

"Give me half"

"Gladly" I hand him the second half of the files.

I give him the most recent ones intensionally. He'll shoot me if he finds out I've been involved with a person of interest.

"She's definitely a traveler" he comments

"Yes. But there is no consistent name on airline tickets around the days of the murders. So she's either driving or has multiple fake identities"

"I'd bet on the second. She is always in and out quickly. Except for Louisiana"

"Yes, she is definitely from Louisiana but fled after the murders. The most recent murder was the first time she went back to Louisiana. It is to our advantage to keep that connection on the down low. If she hears we connected all the homicides, it will alert her and she could even leave the country"

"Definitely. Most victims are high targets. A few of them have criminal records. The ages are all over the place..."

"Are you here to help or repeat everything I've already noted on the file?" I wonder

"Ok, sorry" he chuckles and closes the file. "Enough with work, I've already clocked out. Let's talk about something more interesting..." he mentions

"Like?"

He tilts his head, "Your personal life" he smiles

"I was wondering when you were going to bring it up again... But it's called personal for a reason" I remind him

"Oh, don't give me that crap. You've been so much more relaxed lately"

"Since when is that a bad thing?" I chuckle

"Since you don't tell me about it. Who is the lucky lady that makes you so cheerful?"

"I wouldn't use the word cheerful, especially for work" I point out

"Don't avoid my question. Who is she?" he insists

"It's non of your business"

"It is though. I wanna make sure she is good for you"

"You just said she makes me more cheerful. Isn't that a good enough inticator?" I wonder.

"I want to meet her" he states

"Not yet. I don't want to scare her off" I admit

"Oh, so you're not official yet" he understands

"I don't know. We haven't had that discussion yet" I confess

"Really?" he asks immediately

"Yes. Why are you so surprised?"

"I didn't think you were a guy that would share" he answers.

Share...

Could Sofia be going out with others at the same time?

Share.

Could Sofia be bringing other men home?

Share?!

Absolutely not. I don't share.

"There he is!" Dave smiles

"Shut up" I shake my head. "Will you leave if I tell you some information about her?"

"Yes" he answers immediately

"She is smart, beautiful, and definitely not shy. She is social and she spends a lot of time at work. She works as an independent make-up artist and she must be good because I've seen how full her calendar is. And she is on the younger side, by a lot..."

"I hope over 18"

"Of course!"

"Then good for you. Age's just a number" he says

"And that's exactly what predators say to justify their actions. Thanks".

"Fine, I'll stop talking. But don't you dare sabotage this one for yourself" he warns me

"I am not planning to" I reassure him

"Good. You deserve to have something nice, even if you don't want to tell me about it".

"I'll stop talking, you said" I remind him

"Ok, I'm leaving. Goodnight. And good luck, lover boy" he mocks as he leaves my office.

Once I'm alone, I finally relax. I grab my phone and see a message from Sofia letting me know she'll be home in 15 minutes. So I grab my things and head out too.

I. Do. Not. Share.
