Chapter 4

"Can you get me the charger for the Mac Book?" I asked Alec who sat at the end of the couch with his phone in his hands.

"Oh, Y-Yeah" He jumped from the seat nervously. "Where it at?"

"Under my bed, behind the shoe box" I said. "Don't touch anything else, alright!" I yelled after him when he ran upstairs.

We ended up making up somehow. Alec wouldn't ever leave my side. Even if it were a little small fight we had yesterday, he seemed to be composed in someway. It's awkward, definitely. He's been hesitating to speak to me and very...fidgety.

"Got it" He smiled and handed to me. He sat next to me on the couch and started rubbing his palms on his lap like he always does when he's nervous.

"You okay?" I crunched my eyebrows.

"You know how you said that I was overprotective--"

"No, I didn't. I said 'don't be overprotective', that's what I said" I confirmed recalling what happened the other day. What was he thinking about?

He waved his hand at me. "Whatever, Same shit"

"Seriously, what happened yesterday, don't bother thinking about it" I smiled. "We shouldn't be fighting. Just mind your business and I'll mind mine"

He snorted. "As rude as that might sound, let's see how this will go" He looked into my eyes. Then I was in a trance. His light brown eyes were practically looking through my soul. "Oh and Daisy..."

I nodded my head totally mesmerized. "Uh-huh"

"I love you, you know that" He softened his eyes."This is why I do what I do, even when you don't feel the same way, I just...don't know what will happen to me when you think you've found the right guy. You know, Daisy, sometimes I think when that day will come. When you find that person and he isn't me..." He sighed. I was on the verge of tears. "I think I'll lose my sanity" He smiled.

And there it was. My tears. They escaped my grasp. I didn't know what to say. Normally, I would just play it off because I'm use to him saying he loves me. But...I...

"Oh come on" I playfully punched his arm trying to play it cool. Like I always do.

"I'm serious, Days"

I nodded my head. "I know" I sighed. "You should head home tonight, alright" I smiled to make him feel well. I didn't want him to think I was trying to get rid of him.

"Okay" He started walking to the door. "Bye, love"

"What did I fucking say!" I yelled but he was already out the door. I really hope he's okay.

I truly believe Alec loves me. But I can't seem to return those...feelings. As much I wish I would love him back. I don't feel the same way. I wish I can love him. I just...can't.

"Test?"

"Since when!"

"Fucking shit!"

The class filled with arguing. The teacher apparently was giving us a Pop Test for everyone. I knew I was going to fail anyway.

Soon later, I was able to get the test finished. Although, It was pretty difficult, I don't think I would get less than a fifty. That's for sure.
