"I won't ever leave you, even though you're always leaving me."

― Audrey Niffenegger

Chapter 11

"One black coffee, please"

"Is that all?"

I nodded and stood near the counter while waiting for my drink. It was Saturday evening and I had a lot of stuff in mind. So, I wanted to be alone for the day. Everything that has been happening lately, I needed it to sink in a little. But one thing was sure. All three of those douche bags I know--are hiding something from me, I don't know about.

All of things Mason had said to me seemed too fishy. That advice he gave me...to be honest, it was a little cringe worthy. The only reason to that is because out of all people he shouldn't be giving me advice. And I pretty sure, people will agree with me on that.

"Alright, will that be all, sir" the cashier spoke to the customer to my side.

"Yes, ma'am" a familiar musical voice replied. A peeked to my left to see...

My head spun. I knew him...but I can't seem to pin point how I knew him. He had a black jacket with a  plain black buttoned up shirt that was tucked in with the same colored dress pants. He was defiantly  older than me...maybe four years? He was extremely attractive. Like an angel sent from the heavens.

I watched as his hands leaned against the counter. His eyes suddenly being curious rolled around the room until they fell on mine. I looked away awkwardly. I'm such a creep.

"Here you go" the lady gave me my coffee and I thanked her. I grabbed my drink and turned my heel for the door.

"Daisy?" the same pleasant voice said. I faced the man to actually see his features. His...perfect features. Like his face was the definition to perfection. His jawline...his blue eyes...his jet black hair...his Adam's apple. Oh my God. His Adam's apple.

"Y-yes" calm your flat chest, Daisy. It's just a man.

"Do you remember me" he grinned while flashing his pearly white teeth. Then it came to me. Wednesday and Friday evening classes. Conversations that made me go through emotional roller coasters. The only person when I started high-school that I could talk to comfortably about my...family.

"Tyler" a big smile rounded my face. How can I forget my therapist. Like what the hell!

"It's really nice to see you, especially in a coffee shop" he crunched his eyebrows, laughing."Wanna take a sit?"

"Um" I lifted my eyes from him. Maybe getting my mind off everything will be healthy for a change. My wavy hair bounced as I nodded my head like a little child with a huge smile. "Yes, please"

"Alright" he stepped aside."Lady's first" he gestured with his free hand for me to choose a table. What a gentlemen.

I giggled and went to the far booth coffee table at the corner of the room. I came every time to chill there when I liked being a alone. Or when I wanted to come with...Alec.

"Why here?" Tyler said in a soft tone.

"My favorite spot" I sat down and took off my wet sweater. It was a little drizzly outside so, I patted my hair a bit noticing it got frizzy at the top.
