"To the world you may be one person but to one person you may be the world."

Chapter 13

"Stop it" I heard Zerena enjoyable purr in a soft tone to my left. She stood near the locker door next to me with a guy on the soccer team hand's pressed against next to her.

I sighed angrily and pointed at my belongs while starring at them."Do you mind me being here?" I said sarcastically. Every time I saw Zerena I became irritated by her existence.

Zerena stared at me and gave me a dirty look."Yeah, I do. Bye." She used her hand in a wave as if she was saying Shoo. The soccer dude laughed. So I decided to slam my door with a mocking smile and walk away because you know, I'm the mature one.

I walked down the hall, hearing sneers and guffaws. Adolescent, teenagers glared at me, never forgetting that I so called"lost my virginity" the night at the welcome party. Which was stupid because I never did sleep with Mason...according to Mason. I mean where can he go wrong? After all that has happened I explained to Alec the misunderstanding. Or should I be calling it that.

"Sweetheart" a british tone sang from behind me. I breathed out trying to compose myself and kept walking. How rude of me."Slow down, cheetah"

I kissed my teeth and didn't stop but his long legs kept up with me. "Could you leave, already"

"Why? I thought you missed me" he pouted his lips."We haven't talked for a very long time"

"Last week..."

"Oh yeah, don't forget my warning. It is very...very useful" he gave me winning smile.

I glared at him and dropped the eye contact. "Stop that"

"Stop what?"

"Looking attractive" I said blatantly.

"Can't help it. Mum dropped me like this"

"Yeah, I'm sure she dropped you hard" He frowned at my remark so, I stuck out my tongue.

Suddenly, his face brightened by something in front of him. I ripped my gaze from Mason to see, the last person he would be that happy to see.

"Alec!" Mason exclaimed. Alec glared at him and looked at me and gave me his everyday smile. He approached us with the smell of his favorite cologne he got from his aunt in France, Armani- Acqua Di Gio. The say it drives women wild.

"Hello, Daisy" he teased with respect.

"Hello, Alec" I smiled and rolled my eyes.

"Woah" Mason stepped back, blinking rapidly."I can smell the awkwardness, and it's hurting my eyes"

"Oh shut up" I punched his arm with free hand. He pretended to be hurt by moaning. I looked back Alec to his face fall.

"Well, I'm going to class" he turned his heel and I quickly grabbed his wrist. I've done this plenty of times. It's always him that's running away from my grasp.

"Can I come with you?" I suggested, proudly.

"I thought you wanted to come with me" Mason crossed his arms in envy.

"Again," I turned to stare at him. "Shut up, Mason"

He put his hand on his chest. "You break my heart every second"

"Alright" Alec looked at me."Why not? Walk to class, I mean"

"What do you have, right now?"

"Chem"
