Roseanne's pov

I blink twice, surprised by her sudden appearance, and then stride past a stunned Lisa into the room, my steps quick and deliberate. Jennie trails behind, arms full of bags from her shopping spree.

"Can you please..." she starts, pausing as her gaze lands on the woman beside Lisa. "Ji-Eun?" she calls out, her voice laced with recognition, though I barely recall the name. The woman-Ji-Eun-looks up, and I catch the faint smile on her lips.

"Oh my god,"

Jennie gasps, leaning in to exchange cheek kisses with her. "It's been ages!" She pulls back, her eyes darting between Ji-Eun and Lisa. I wonder if my sister even remembers her. Jennie's memory has been spotty lately, like a real-life Dory.

Then, Jennie notices Lisa. She tilts her head and grins mischievously. "And who's this stunning catch?" she teases, making me stifle a laugh. My gut had been right.

"Oh," Ji-Eun turns to Lisa, then back to us with a shy smile. I move closer, watching as Lisa's hand curls possessively around Ji-Eun's waist. "I wasn't supposed to tell anyone yet, but since you asked-meet my fiancée, Lisa Manoban."

"Your fiancée? Oh my god, congratulations!" Jennie squeals, pulling Ji-Eun into another quick hug. Meanwhile, I just stand there, awkwardly shifting my gaze between my sister and the elevator's LCD screen. I can feel Lisa's eyes on me, but I choose to ignore her.

"Thank you," Ji-Eun beams, pressing herself against Lisa again. "You're actually the first person I've told."

"Happy?" Jennie feigns a scowl before her grin reappears. "I'm thrilled!" Her gaze flickers toward Lisa as she asks if they're in a hurry.

"We're not," Lisa replies coolly, her voice as calm as ever.

"Perfect," Jennie says as the elevator comes to a halt. "How about the four of us grab some coffee?"

"I don't think I've introduced my companion today," Jennie says after taking her first sip of wine. I quietly stir my tea until she taps my hand, catching my attention. "This is my little sister, Roseanne."

"Hello, Roseanne," Ji-Eun greets warmly, her handshake firm yet kind. "It's wonderful to meet you." She glances at Jennie before looking back at me. "Jennie never mentioned having a sister, but I guess you were a well-kept secret."

I smile awkwardly, unsure of what she means. Jennie just grins. "It wasn't really a secret-I just don't talk about family much."

"So, what do you do, Roseanne?" Ji-Eun asks, her curiosity piqued.

Jennie interjects before I can answer, "Tell her about your new job."

I nod. "I'm currently managing Sunrise Airlines."

Ji-Eun's eyes widen slightly. "Wow, that's impressive. Are you one of the senior executives?"

"Very senior," Jennie boasts. "She's the new CEO."
