The days following Jungwon's confession to Heeseung felt like a whirlwind. As they navigated the new dynamics of their relationship, Jungwon felt excitement mingling with trepidation. While he was thrilled to explore his feelings for Heeseung, a nagging worry lingered in the back of his mind—what would Mrs. Lee think?

She had always been warm and supportive, treating Jungwon like family ever since he began working at the mansion. But would she accept a romantic relationship between her son and the former heir of a wealthy family? The thought made Jungwon anxious.

"Are you okay?" Heeseung asked one afternoon as they sat in a quiet corner of the office. They were reviewing a project, but Jungwon's distracted demeanor caught Heeseung's attention.

"Yeah, I just... I've been thinking about Mrs. Lee," Jungwon admitted, running a hand through his hair. "What if she doesn't accept us?"

Heeseung's expression softened. "You don't have to worry about that. My mom is really open-minded. I think she'll be supportive, especially if you're happy."

"I hope so," Jungwon murmured, but doubt still gnawed at him. "It's a big change, and I don't want to cause any tension between you two."

Later that evening, after work, Heeseung suggested they visit his home for dinner. "Come on, it'll be fine! My mom loves cooking for guests," he said, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

Jungwon hesitated but eventually agreed, feeling a mix of nervousness and anticipation. As they drove to the Lee mansion, Jungwon's heart raced. Would Mrs. Lee see their connection as a positive thing, or would she have reservations?

Upon arriving, they were greeted by the familiar warmth of the home. The scent of Mrs. Lee's cooking wafted through the air, making Jungwon's stomach rumble. Heeseung led him into the dining room, where Mrs. Lee was setting the table.

"Welcome! It's so good to see you, Jungwon!" she exclaimed, her face lighting up with a smile. "I've made your favorite!"

Jungwon felt a wave of relief wash over him as he returned her smile. "Thank you, Mrs. Lee! It smells amazing."

After they settled in, dinner began with laughter and lively conversation. Mrs. Lee's warmth enveloped them, making Jungwon feel at ease. Heeseung occasionally shot Jungwon sideways glances, a grin playing on his lips, making Jungwon's heart flutter.

As they cleared the table, Mrs. Lee leaned against the counter, looking between her son and Jungwon. "So, Jungwon, how has your week been? Any exciting developments at work?"

Jungwon exchanged a glance with Heeseung, who seemed to be holding his breath. "It's been good, actually. We've been working on some interesting projects."

Mrs. Lee smiled but continued to observe them closely. "You two seem quite close lately. Is there something you'd like to share?"

Jungwon's heart raced. This was it—the moment of truth. He glanced at Heeseung, who nodded encouragingly. Taking a deep breath, Jungwon spoke up. "Actually, Mrs. Lee, there is something I want to share."

Mrs. Lee's expression turned serious but still warm, urging him on.

"I... I really care about Hyung," Jungwon began, his voice steady. "We've started seeing each other, and I wanted you to know."

The silence that followed felt like an eternity. Jungwon's heart pounded in his chest, and he glanced at Heeseung, who seemed equally tense.

Mrs. Lee's lips curled into a smile, and she stepped closer, placing her hand on Jungwon's shoulder. "Oh, Jungwon, that's wonderful! I'm so happy for both of you!"

Jungwon's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? You're okay with this?"

"Of course! As long as you make my son happy, that's all that matters," she replied, her eyes twinkling. "I've seen how much you care for each other, and it makes me so glad."

Relief washed over Jungwon, followed by a rush of warmth. "Thank you, Mrs. Lee. That means so much to me."

Heeseung let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding, a wide grin spreading across his face. "See? I told you she would be supportive!"

They all shared a laugh, and Jungwon felt a newfound sense of belonging. The bond he had with Heeseung now felt even more solidified with Mrs. Lee's acceptance.

As they spent the rest of the evening enjoying each other's company, Jungwon realized that he had been worried for nothing. Mrs. Lee's approval made him feel even more confident in his relationship with Heeseung.

As he left the mansion that night, hand in hand with Heeseung, Jungwon couldn't help but smile. With every step they took together, he felt lighter, ready to embrace whatever came next in their journey.
