I do not love you except because I love you;
I go from loving to not loving you,
From waiting to not waiting for you
My heart moves from cold to fire.

I love you only because it's you the one I love;
I hate you deeply, and hating you
Bend to you, and the measure of my changing love for you
Is that I do not see you but love you blindly.

-Pablo Neruda

  Orm was feeling sluggish when she woke up. It’s Monday, but the difference is, she’s not feeling hungover because she spent her entire weekend lounging in bed, doing nothing but shopping online since she’s running out of new clothes to wear. Not that she cares about her outfit or is being meticulous and particular about what she wears these days. She just wanted something different. That's it, nothing more.

"You looked like you were headed to a fashion show." Her brother playfully teased her when she came down for breakfast before heading to work. She raised an eyebrow at her younger brother, King, who is wearing his school uniform and is already a graduating senior in high school. Though  he is taller than her, Orm could still slap the living daylights out of her brother if she wanted to, and that’s what she’s about to do when her brother added, “Trying to look beautiful for someone?”

  She looked at her Versace mini dress that went up to her knees; it fits her perfectly, it hugs all her delicate curves and she always dresses this way so what is her brother up to now? She shot him a fierce look. "I am always beautiful, you piece of-"

"Mae, P'Orm is cursing! I'm being tainted by her wickedness!" King interrupted what she wanted to say, and his overly dramatic sibling even shouted to tell their mom. Not caring Even though she's wearing her four inches Louboutin, She was about to run after him, but her brother was faster at pulling away from her. Thankfully, her mother is not here. It’s still early, so they might be asleep or in her garden, having a concert with her beloved flowers.

"If you see P'Ling today, tell her that we should get together. I miss her already." Her brother smirked before he finally took the bag and left for school.

  She rolled her eyes. What is she? Messenger of the jerks? Why couldn't they simply talk to one another? Why does it have to be her who tells that arrogant lawyer what her fool of a brother wanted to relay? She raised her middle finger and stuck her tongue out at the retreating figure of King. Her brother used to be casually sweet and caring towards her, but nowadays, he looked at her with a playful smile in his eyes.

She doesn't care. She hasn't even seen Spock ever since they went out to eat. And yes, she stoops to being petty and calls the foolish lawyer Spock, a cold, stoic, and distant character from the lawyer's favorite show. If she called Ling another name besides characters from her favorite series, she was worried that the lawyer wouldn't understand her condescending reference since she knew Ling had never watched anything other than Harry Potter and Star Trek. She’s thoughtful in that regard.

  Well, although her father designated an office specifically to the Legal Team and worse, close to her own, she hasn’t seen a trace of Spock around the building. She only sees Nan, Spock's  paralegal, going back and forth to give updates to her father about some things or whatever, but the arrogant Lawyer was never around. She just happened to know that the lawyer was working in her own office somewhere along Sukhumvit since she isn't needed every day. She also happens to know that she’s just in charge of corporate transactions such as writing contracts and making sure all legal papers are taken care of, things that she can definitely do outside the Sethachon Building, so Orm was really wondering if it’s still worth hiring her. Anyway, she doesn't care. She will never be. She hurriedly grabbed a bite when she saw that she was already running late and had P’Clang, her longtime driver, take her to the office.
