tw: domestic violence (yes ik ratty matty the villan)
"Taylor!" A hand grabbed at my arm, wrenching me away from Travis. "There you are." Matty hissed. "What the fuck are you doing?"
"What the fuck are you doing?" I snapped, noticing the smudges of white around his nose. "Cocaine?" I hissed, glancing around. "You said you were done with that shit. What the hell are you doing coke for?"
"We are going home." Matty growled at me, and I lifted my chin defiantly. "Right now." His grip on my arm tightened.
"Hey, careful." Travis warned.
"No it's okay Trav." I looked back and placed a hand on his arm. "You did great today, and this was fun. I'll see you later."
"Okay Bug, text me when you get home." Travis eyed Matty, obviously not trusting him. I nodded, swallowing nervously as I let Matty pull me away.
We didn't start the impending argument as we left the bar, knowing that there might be cameras around to catch any exchange we might have. I was as silent as Matty was the entire way home, and as soon as we got inside, he went off to our bedroom and slammed the door. I flinched, sighing to myself as I locked the front door and stepped out of my shoes. Grabbing my phone, I texted Travis as I went down to the kitchen in search of a snack. He texted back immediately.
Me: Home safe
Travis: I'm sorry if I took it too far, I was in the moment
Travis: Is he angry with you?
Me: I think so, but he went straight to bed. He's probably too coked up to notice much right now so its fine
Travis: I'm sorry Bug
Me: It's okay, I won't say it wasn't fun ;)
Travis: Oh don't do that Bug I can't come over there and fuck you right now as much as I want to
Me: Little post celebration huh?
Travis: You tease
I giggled, pleased with myself. I liked this new side of our relationship. Teasing and flirting, sexual tension, and the mind blowing sex. I couldn't wait until we had another night together where we could explore even further. I wanted to try more things on Travis, have him try all sorts of dirty things on me. God it was hot to have someone who could finally make me feel good.
Putting my phone into my pocket, I heated up some leftovers and ate before cleaning up the kitchen. I was delaying going to bed, not wanting to sleep next to Matty, but I knew he would be even more pissed off if I slept on the couch. He'd make a big deal about it and I wasn't feeling that tonight.
"Matty?" I knocked on the bedroom door before I opened it, finding my husband in bed, on his phone. "Matty I'm sorry." I sighed, crossing the room and sitting down next to him.
"Yeah." He mumbled. "Let's just forget about it babe, it's okay. If you say there's nothing I need to worry about with him, I trust you."
"There's not." I lied, feeling awful as I did so. On some level I did love Matty, but that level was just harder to find these days. "I love you." I forced out, and Matty put his phone down.
"Love you too." He sighed, reaching out and cupping my face in his hand. I nodded, and we looked at each other for a long moment before I moved to go and get changed.

Something was wrong when I woke up the next morning. Matty was awake, sitting up next to me, his jaw clenched and his arms folded. He looked at me as I lifted my head, and my mouth went dry.
