Their punishment consisted in sort and establish books, cleaning the tables and brush off books from dust. Yarra was furiously placing books on the shelves.
Sebastian slowly approached her and spoke to her quietly. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean that I don't care about your opinion and desires. I'm just trying to look out for you, honey. There's no need for you to be alone with some random guy you just met."
Yarra shook her head and the anger she was suppressing towards Sebastian rushed out uncontrollably."You wanted to talk? Ok! Let's talk!" She took a breath and launched, "How dare you lecture me about my safety after last year?!" she screamed at him but she didn't care. "You used me and then you didn't know me anymore! So why are you caring about me now?!"

Sebastian's face darkened as Yarra unloaded her pent-up anger onto him. "You think I don't know that?" he snapped back, his voice low and filled with frustration. "Do you think I don't regret it every day? I put you in dangerous situations, put your safety at risk. I used unf... Fuck... I hurt you.. and I will regret it for the rest of my life. But... I didn't want to leave you." He glanced at Ominis and swallowed hard. He looked back at Yarra and said quietly. "Ominis ordered me to leave you alone."
Yarra's eyes widened. She blinked in disbelief before turning to Ominis. "What the fuck is he talking about? Is it true?"

Ominis Pov

Ominis froze. He nodded, his voice quiet but firm.
"Yes, it's true. I did tell Sebastian to leave you alone." Yarra looked at Ominis in shock. Tears began to fall from her eyes. In a broken voice, almost whispering, she said only one word, "Why?"
Ominis's heart clenched at the pain in Yarra's voice, and he knew he owed her an explanation. He took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts before speaking.
"I did it for your own good, Yarra," he said softly. "Sebastian's actions were... reckless and dangerous. I saw how he was leading you down a path that was harmful to both of you, and I couldn't stand by and watch it happen."
Ominis's voice tightened.
"I care about you and your safety. I had to do what I thought was right."

Yarra had an unreadable expression on her face. After a moment of silence, she spoke. "Ominis, I greatly appreciate your efforts to protect me from my own stupidity and naivety." Her expression turned to anger. "But don't you think you're a bit of a hypocrite?" She turned around and pointed at Sebastian with her hand and continued: "You talk about Sebastian being possessive and you didn't like how he wanted to decide for me who would keep me company and who wouldn't... and yet you do the same?" She shook her head, tears in her eyes. "Unbelievable! Ominis, I ...I believed you. You were my support and you wiped my tears when I cried because Sebastian left me. And yet it was YOU who held him back?"

She turned to Sebastian and suddenly asked him, "And you?! Since when do you take orders from someone?"
"I don't take orders from anyone," Sebastian said through clenched teeth. But he... he threatened me.", Sebastian finish and glared at Ominis.
He felt the weight of Sebastian's glare, and his guilt increased. "I had to do what I thought was best for you," Ominis repeated, his voice quieter now. "I wasn't going to let Sebastian drag you down further with him."
Ominis swallowed hard and quietly spoke so Liam wouldn't hear him.: "I threatened to report him to the Ministry and have him locked up in Azkaban."

His words hung heavily in the air, leaving Yarra stunned into silence. Yarra said nothing. After a while, she just took the books and sorted them on the shelf.
Someone once told him: 'Silence is a woman's strongest scream. As long as a woman screams at you, you're still in the game. But as soon as there's silence, it's game over.'
Ominis's heart ached. He could feel the chasm growing between them. He tried to reach out to her, but she brushed him off, her actions cold and distant. Ominis wanted to explain himself, to make her understand, but the words lodged in his throat. He stood there, frozen and helpless, watching her work with an emptiness in his heart that was becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.
