Yarra's PoV

Yarra felt a sense of relief, but it didn't last long. Someone roughly grabbed her by the hair and pulled her up to her feet. She cried out in pain, tears stinging her eyes.
"Drop your wands! Now! Because I will kill her! " As Liam's father spoke, his voice cold and commanding, Yarra's heart sank. He had a wand pointed at her head, and there was no doubt he was serious about killing her.

Sebastian and Ominis froze as they heard Yarra's cry of pain. They slowly lowered their wands, their faces grim. They knew they were outnumbered and outmaneuvered.
"Let her go," Ominis said, his voice calm but firm. "We'll drop our wands, just please, don't hurt her."
Mr. Carter's grip on Yarra's hair tightened, pulling her head back. His cold eyes narrowed as he looked at Sebastian and Ominis, a look of victory on his face.
"You're smart boys," he said, a cruel sneer on his face. "You know when you're outnumbered. Drop your wands and kick them over here."
Sebastian and Ominis shared a brief look, their eyes saying more than words ever could. They slowly dropped their wands and kicked them over to where Liam's was lying on the floor. Ominis's voice was controlled, his expression betraying none of his fear. "There. You have our wands. Now let her go."

Liam's father continued to hold Yarra's head back, his cold eyes fixed on Sebastian and Ominis as they dropped their wands. He let out a cruel laugh, enjoying the feeling of power he held over them. He pushed Yarra forward, still holding her by the hair. She stumbled, a fresh wave of pain shooting through her head as he continued to hold her. "You're both fools," he said, his voice cold and confident. "You've given up your only means of defense. Now you're completely at my mercy." He turned his attention to Sebastian. "Boy, we still have bills to settle." He looked at his son and said with a grin, "Liam, he almost beat you to death, didn't he?" Sebastian's jaw clenched as he looked at Mr. Carter, his body tense with anger. "That's right," he snarled. "And I'll do it again if you don't let Yarra go."
Mr. Carter laughed cruelly, still holding Yarra's hair tight enough to make her cry out in pain.
"You're in no position to make threats," he said. "And you can bet that I'm going to make you pay for what you did to my son."
Liam stood up and picked up his wand from the ground. He walked around Sebastian, a smirk on his face. "You will regret ever being born, you filthy bloodtraitor!"

Yarra's heart sank as Liam's words echoed through the hall. She could feel the anger and malice in his voice, the way he was looking at Sebastian, the way he relished the thought of revenge. Sebastian stood firm, his jaw clenched tight, but there was a flicker of fear in his eyes. "I've taken your best shot and lived to tell the tale, Liam. I'm not scared of you." Liam's smirk faded for a moment, replaced by a look of anger and frustration. "You've been lucky, Sallow. But your luck runs out today."
He raised his wand, a cruel gleam in his eyes. "You'll pay for humiliating me, for making me look like a fool." His eyes widened maniacally and he took a deep breath before casting spell. Yarra's eyes widened in terror as she recognized the curse Liam was about to cast. She knew all too well the excruciating pain it would bring, the torment it would inflict. "No!" she cried out, struggling against Mr. Carter's grip. "Please, don't--!" Ominis's hands clenching into tight fists. "Liam, don't do this," he pleaded, his voice hoarse with desperation. "This is madness."

"Crucioo!" A curse came out of Liam's mouth and hit Sebastian in the chest.
Sebastian let out a guttural cry of pain as the curse hit him, his body immediately seizing up as the torment wracked through him.
Sebastian writhed in agony as the Cruciatus Curse coursed through his body, the pain excruciating and overpowering. His face contorted in agony, his muscles locked in a spasm of pain.
"Stop! Stop this!" Ominis yelled, desperation in his voice. But Liam seemed to revel in Sebastian's torment, a cruel smile on his face.
The main door swung open and the Aurors rushed in, disarming and capturing Liam before turning their attention to the elder Carter still holding Yarra tightly.
