Yarra's PoV

Yarra's head was swirling with a chaotic mix of emotions. The news that she was pregnant had hit her like a Bludger. She absently placed a hand on her stomach, unable to believe the reality of her situation. Her eyes were still vacant and her expression dazed from the effects of the Veritaserum. The judge's verdict passed over her like a blur, her mind too focused on the fact that she was carrying a child.

Yarra felt a pang of guilt and shame wash over her as the truth of her situation dawned on her. She was carrying a child, but whose was it? While Ominis was her legal husband, Sebastian was the one who owned her heart. But would Ominis, who was already tormented by the knowledge of her affair, forgive her? Or would he reject her and the child growing inside her?

She was snapped out of her thoughts by a guard who pulled her to her feet and escorted her out of the courtroom. Her eyes searched for her husband and Sebastian. Yarra was roused from her thoughts when a guard grabbed her arm and hauled her to her feet. As she was lead out of the courtroom, she frantically looked around for her husband and Sebastian.
Her heart ached as she saw Ominis sitting rigid in his seat, his knuckles white as he gripped the edge of his chair. Beside him, Sebastian looked as if the air had just been knocked out of him, his gaze firmly fixed on her.

The guard led Yarra to her old hospital cell, where they placed an enchanted bracelet around her wrist. It would monitor her movements and magic use for the duration of her house arrest. Her chains were finally removed, and she felt a small sense of relief but still heavy from the chains that bound her emotionally. The doctor who had testified in court walked in, a serious expression on his face. He waited until the guard left before approaching Yarra. "Congratulations on your pregnancy, Mrs. Gaunt. You need to rest a lot. You've been through a lot these past few weeks. It's a miracle you didn't lose your baby."

Yarra let out an ironic laugh, her voice devoid of emotion from the lingering effects of the Veritaserum. "A miracle," she repeated flatly, her hand still placed on her stomach. The doctor's words echoed in her mind. A miracle. Despite her imprisonment, all the stress and emotional torment, she had managed to carry the baby to this point. But she couldn't shake the feeling of dread over who the father was.

The doctor left and Marvollo entered the room. He walked up to her and hugged her carefully. Sister, we made it. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about the pregnancy sooner. I wanted to keep it as an ace up my sleeve.
Yarra felt a mix of relief and gratitude as Marvollo hugged her gently. They had made it. She gave him a small smile before speaking in a flat, measured tone due to the Veritaserum. "It's alright. I understand why you held back. It was important." She took a moment to let the reality of her situation sink in. She was pregnant, and she would be under house arrest with a magical bracelet for the next two years. It was surreal and overwhelming at the same time.

"Let's get out of here." he smiled at her and led her away. As Marvollo led her through the corridors of the Ministry, Yarra felt a strange sense of freedom, although she knew it was temporary. The enchanted bracelet on her wrist served as a constant reminder of her condition.
She looked around the ministry, taking in the hustle and bustle of the place. She couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and unease.

As Marvollo and Yarra exited the Ministry building, they were met by a small group of people waiting outside. Yarra's in-laws, her mother, Ominis, and Sebastian.
Yarra's heart thudded in her chest as she looked at Sebastian. The doctor's words echoed in her mind "She is in her second month by my judgement. She must have gotten pregnant right before being captured by the Carter family." Did Sebastian realize it could be his child? Everyone looked at Yarra, a range of expressions on their faces. Some of her in-laws looked relieved, some worried, and her mother looked absolutely exhausted. Sebastian seemed torn between concern and guilt, while Ominis stood slightly apart, his blind eyes staring into space, his face stoic.
