"Talking"

Asuna sighed, her hands covering her face, "Fuck! Why did I do that!"
"Well, don't be too sad over it. I'd be dead if you didn't." Gray deadpanned at the girl. The group slowly floated back down to the beach, heading over to the group of rocks that they'd left Ranfan and Nam behind.
"G...Good job!" Ranfan said, giving Gray a thumbs up as she looked unnerved.
"You saw the fight?" He raised his eyebrow.
"Yeah... it was, um... intense..." She said uncomfortably.
She's probably not used to seeing a person's brain get blown out.
"That's how we do things," Gray said simply, "We're Saiyans. Our race has conquered and massacred planets for a long time. If I didn't kill them, they would've told Raditz where we were, and they would've done the same thing to us."
"I know..." The purple-haired woman puffed out her cheeks, "I've seen a lot of people die over the last few years but... I still don't like it."
"We have bigger things to worry about," Celia spoke up, "We can't head to the Frieza Force base anymore."
"Fuck, fuck, fuck..." Asuna slumped against one of the rocks, staring down at her hands, "Why did I do that? Why did I do that? I'm a traitor... what is my family going to think... I can never go back home... fuck..."
"Relax," Gray leaned down, patting her head, "We're not traitors. Well, we are, but not for long. We just need to kill Raditz... and probably the rest of his squad."
"He's right," Celia said, looking down at Asuna, "Whatever part of the Frieza Force that's left here will take whatever help they can get. Gray just needs to kill Raditz - then he'll be the new captain."
"Is that... allowed?" Ranfan asked, looking up curiously at Celia with her big eyes, "I mean, your boss, or king, or whoever won't be mad about that?"
"We're a warrior race," Celia said plainly, "The strongest leads. If Gray kills Raditz, then he's the strongest Saiyan here, so he's the leader. That's how we are with everything."
"Yeah, that's true," Asuna sighed, still looking unhappy but not as distraught as before, "Even the royal family is that way. King Vegeta can't be mad when his own ancestors did something similar, right?"
"Wait," Ranfan looked at Gray with a smile, "You just got way stronger, right? Like, double stronger! So, we're good? You can just go beat Raddys ass!"
"Raditz," Celia corrected as she looked at Ranfan, "You can sense energy?"
Ranfan looked at her curiously, "Yeah. All martial artists can."
"It's not that simple," Gray said, bringing the conversation back to their current dire situation, "We're not squad members anymore. We're traitors. I could take on Raditz alone after I heal up, especially since he can't go into his Ozaru form, but the rest of the squad won't just sit by idly. I don't like my odds against Raditz and 27 giant apes."
"And we won't be any help, I take it?" Nam finally spoke.
"Against almost 30 Ozaru's?" Gray scoffed, "No offense, but you and Ranfan wouldn't even be helpful against a couple of Saibamen-"
That might be a bad analogy. Saibamen are probably kicking ass here.
"-Saeko wouldn't be much help either. Celia and Asuna can also transform, so they'd be able to help a bit, but the majority of the squad is stronger than them. They could maybe take one each, so I'd be left with Raditz and another 25 apes."
