"Did he just turn into a carrot?" Nami asked blankly from beside Gray, staring at the same screen.

"Yes... yes, he did," Gray sighed.

Monster Carrot is attacking West City for some reason. It might be the whole Triangle of Evil with him as well.

Gray stared hard at the screen, which was now showcasing more rabbits streaming into what looked to be a run-down street. They were grabbing various earthlings as they tried to flee, but were too slow as they were captured and eventually turned into carrots.

Nam must've been trying to protect them. Why the hell was he even there?

Gray slowly closed his hand into a fist, clenching it at his side. He hadn't known Nam long, and he wasn't even sure if he considered the man his friend, but...

I would've had to kill you at some point, Carrot. Thanks for giving me an excuse to do it now.

The Triangle of Evil had been lower on Gray's radar - they didn't seem nearly as dangerous as Cooler or King Cold. But, now?

You're next.

"Change of plans. Cui!" Gray shouted back, causing Cui to jump and spin around, saluting at him.

"Y-Yeah?"

"Leave a couple of men back to defend this place, then you're coming with me," Gray ordered, then turned to his group, "Celia, Saeko, Asuna, Ranfan, we're heading to West City. You can come too if you want, Piccolo."

Leaving a couple of aliens behind wouldn't hurt - there was still a fair bit of useful technology here, and they wouldn't be useful in a fight anyway.

This place is a total shithole - we're not staying here. We'll move our base to West City or the lookout.

"West City?" Celia asked, tilting her head at him, "Why?"

"The Triangle of Evil is attacking the city. They're our allies now, so we need to go help them," Gray explained, then nodded his head at the computer screen, "Plus, they just got Nam. I need to go kill that bastard Carrot."

"N-Nam?" Ranfan asked, quickly walking over to the screen and watching the camera feed, "Is he alright?!"

"As alright as you can be when you get turned into a carrot," Gray replied bluntly, "He'll be fine. I'll beat Carrot's ass and make him transform Nam back."

More specifically, I'll stay very far away and spam Ki bullets at him until he gives in.

Monster Carrot, despite being one of the earliest OG Dragon Ball villains, was one of the most concerning opponents to Gray.

I don't know how strong he is in this world, and his ability is concerning. It's not just that I can't let him hit me - I can't hit him either.

Just touching Carrot would give him the power to turn you into a carrot.

I don't know if I could keep beating his ass when I'm a carrot like Vegito did to Buu, but I don't want to find out. I can live without knowing what it feels like to be a carrot.

"Nam..." Ranfan muttered, a distressed look on her face as she stared at the screen.

"We'll head there right away," Gray decided, "If we don't get stalled by any of Cooler or King Cold's soldiers on the way, we can be there in a few minutes. We'll stop him and get Nam."
