Siobhan sat quietly in Marjories office. She enjoyed visiting the nursery, she got a break from all the crap Roger put her through.

Of course, she'd never tell Marjorie how safe she felt in that chair, or how warm it was away from Rogers empty mansion. She could never admit how much she hated it with him, and how much she loved being away from it all. Instead she endured Marjories sceptical glances as Siobhan pretended to update the managers (very much updated) computer.

Truthfully, she started going to the nursery more often just to be away from Roger and have a valid excuse. But she kept going there much more after Vivian started. Siobhan tried to innocently play off her feelings for Vivian in her head, telling herself over and over "Im straight. I'm engaged. I just like her hair.. and her face.. and her voice.. and her-"

"Siobhan?"

She snapped out of her trance and realised Marjorie had just watched her completely space out mid 'update'.

"Sorry, i zoned out. Your computer is all set."

Siobhan rushed out of the office and checked her phone, she had over 100 notifications from every single app she had that had any sort of messaging feature. All Roger of course.

The second she began to call her fiancé back he had picked up, immediately shouting at her through the phone. Siobhan winced and turned down her volume, rushing to her car as she saw Vivian collecting Jamie. She couldn't face her, not now.

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!? LEARN TO TEXT BACK YOU WHORE. HOW DO I KNOW YOU'RE NOT OFF CHEATING ON ME LIKE THE LITTLE BITCH YOU ARE?" Roger screamed through the speakers, it practically echoed through her car even on the lowest volume it would allow her to use.

Siobhan held back tears and apologised profusely, she was used to it by now but it still hit like a truck to hear all the names her 'meant to be' was calling her after she didn't answer him for 20 minutes. She started the car and Roger didn't even notice the engine rev as he went on and on, insulting his dear fiancé.

He didn't stop verbally attacking her until she walked in the front door, holding her phone out to him on instinct. He grabbed it and immediately started looking through it, she panicked slightly as he encountered the messages between her and Vivian but since they disguised everything as business he skimmed over it, only pausing slightly when he saw Reece in Siobhan's recents.

"Why are you talking to my son." He muttered, not even waiting for an answer before blocking Reece's number.

"He wanted my number to talk about the managers seminar we had last week, he couldn't get ahold of you." Siobhan shakily answered, she was telling the truth but she was still terrified, racking her brain for anything that might make Roger even slightly more mad in her phone.

Nothing came to mind and Siobhan breathed a sigh of relief as Roger grunted and handed back her phone.

"You smell like shit. Take a shower and meet me in the bedroom." Roger remarked as he slowly began to scale the stairs.

"Of course.." Siobhan sighed, finally relaxing her muscles as Roger was out of sight. She had at least half an hour away from him while she showered.

The next day Siobhan knew she couldn't get away with visiting the nursery for very long, not after what happened yesterday. She had some usual errands to run so she prepared herself to say goodbye to Roger and finally leave the house once more. She'd do anything to be able to leave and never come back.

After a while of going from shop to shop, picking up Roger's medicines and all the food he wouldn't share, Siobhan realised she had taken much less time than usual and decided to risk a visit to the nursery once again.

On the way there Siobhan knew she needed an excuse, eventually landing on 'I realised i missed an update on the computer, Roger asked me to install a separate file for the list of fees all of the parents pay and i forgot to add it yesterday'  for Marjorie and 'They had a huge line in the pharmacy so it took a little longer to get your medicine, but they gave me free chapstick for the wait!' For Roger, incase she ran a little bit late.

They were a bit pathetic but good enough.

"Bon Bon! You're back again today then?"

Siobhan's heart jumped at hearing the name Bon Bon, she turned her head away from Marjorie's computer and smiled weakly at the tall woman standing in the doorway, practically grinning.

"Viv! Yeah, I.. missed a file yesterday, soo back again." Siobhan nervously remarked

"I see, so I just came to the office to ask for Marjorie's favourite insect, but yours will do i guess" Vivian laughed, if it were anyone else she would've just left and waited until the next day to see Marjorie, but then again, Siobhan wasn't just 'anyone else'.

"Why would you want such useless information?" Siobhan averted eye contact and looked back at the computer, pretending to be uninterested.

"Jamie wanted to draw each employee's favourite insect, he's taken a liking to you all i suppose. But since you think its such useless information i'm assuming you don't have one?" Vivian was prepared to just nod and leave but seeing Siobhan start to look up at her she held back.

"I.. I like bees." Siobhan decided. She never really had a favourite insect but now she thought about it, she did own a lot of bee themed jewellery.
