Siobhan immediately dropped the phone and spun around to face the seething man. He grabbed her wrist and yanked her forwards, whispering,
"I'll deal with you later."
Vivian stood up and turned off the computer, she quickly put her phone in her pocket and prayed he hadn't seen Siobhan taking photos, she knew she'd fucked up big time but at least if he hadn't seen Siobhan she'd get let off even a tiny bit easier.
"Who the hell are you and why are you looking through my bank statements. What kind of creep are you." Roger spat
"My name is.. Linda. And I didn't realise it was your bank statements, Charles."
Roger's face whitened at the name Charles, Vivian figured he hadn't seen the email, just the transactions."Get out of my house. And I never want to see your face again, leave the nursery. And leave Siobhan alone."
Now it was Vivians turn to go pale, she knew Roger would've recognised her but she didn't think he'd make her leave the nursery, it made him money.
"Seriously? You're going to loose a customer over a mistake? I didn't mean to look through your bank statements I was looking for your nursery files to update my last name."
"And what would that be?"
"Why am I not surprised you don't know your own nursery members names." Vivian rolled her eyes and avoided the question, truthfully she was terrified of what he'd do but she knew the best way to get out of it was make up excuses and never let him find out her name.
"Stop avoiding my questions. Who the hell are you."
"My name is Linda. I came here to change my surname since i recently married but Siobhan didn't know how to spell it so she let me put it in. I accidentally pressed off the file and went back on to a different document. Then you walked in. Can I go now?" Vivian just stared at Roger with her arms crossed. She didn't expect him to let her go but to her surprise, Roger grunted and moved out the way of the door.
"I never want to see you near my house again." He threatened, Vivian just nodded and speed-walked out the door.
"I'm so sorry Roger, I thought she would just put her surname in and leave, I'll never let anyone in the house without-"
"Shut up Siobhan." She quickly stopped attempting to apologise and followed Roger out the office. He walked into the bedroom and grabbed his phone, ushering Siobhan to leave.
The woman obliged and left but she stayed against the wall, out of view from her fiancé so she could listen in.
"She knows about Charles. I don't care! Get. It. Done." Was all Siobhan could hear before Roger hung up and began to leave the room, she ran down the hall and entered the bathroom to avoid Roger seeing her.
"Siobhan. I'm going out again to meet someone, make sure the house is clean and dinner is ready before I'm back."
Siobhan responded with a simple 'Of course' through the door and fumbled for her phone, she waited to hear Roger's footsteps down the stairs and out the door before she frantically called Vivian.
"Siobhan? What's wrong?" Vivian answered almost immediately.
"It's Roger. I heard him on the phone with someone saying 'she knows about Charles, get it done'.. You're in danger Viv."
Vivian stayed silent, she realised now why Roger let her go.
"He's going to fucking murder me isn't he."
"You need to leave the town Viv, he'll stop at nothing to make sure you're dead." Siobhan wanted nothing more than for Viv to be safe, even if it meant she'd never be able to see her again..
"But Jamie..Siobhan.." Vivian cut herself off and just sat in silence for a while, she didn't know what to say anymore.
"Get out of town as soon as you can. I can help you find and fund a house if you have nowhere to stay, just leave."
Siobhan was holding back tears but she knew it was the only way to keep Viv safe.
"Fine, fine. I'll go. I don't want to get you in trouble Bon Bon.. don't contact me again. I'll go stay with family so you don't need to help fund anything. I'll..miss you." Vivian hung up before Siobhan could respond. She broke down both for herself, her son and Siobhan. They'd have to restart their entire life away from the place they'd finally settled into, and Siobhan would loose her only friend.
Roger returned to the house about an hour later.
"Siobhan where the hell are you?" He called out with no response.
He eventually found his fiancé sobbing on her bedrooms balcony, the man was surprised seeing her in such a state but felt so remorse. 'She deserves it for helping that bitch find out about Charles.' He thought as he went closer.
"Siobhan get up. You're pathetic." He stood behind her and grabbed her hair, about to pull her up. Siobhan stood up on her own before he could do anything and turned to face him
"You're the pathetic one. You're a lazy old man that ruined my fucking life. I'll never forgive you for any of the shit you've done to me and I won't let you get away with it either. You took my only friend away from me, you forced me to say yes when you proposed and pulled me away from any contact I had with my family. I have nothing left. I'd fucking kill myself if I didn't have such a passion to get back at you and ruin you for everything you've done. Not just to me but your family. Your children. I hate you Roger."
