"Please, be the one for me"

Chapter 15 - Visit

Vivian watched as Siobhan turned pale and instantly dropped Autumn's hand.

"You.. You're married? And Siobhan.." Vivian's eyes welled up and she just walked away.

"Siobhan. She is very much not dead."

"Oh for fuck's sake."

Autumn was taken aback and watched (slowly following behind) as Siobhan chased after Vivian, eventually catching her and grabbing the woman's arm.

"I'm not dealing with this cliche. Vivian, I don't know how I feel about you. But Roger told me you were dead and it made me realise that I don't like life if you're not in it. Me and Autumn aren't a 'thing', never have been, never will be. I was upset because Charlotte's in hospital and it's my fault so I panicked and kissed her just so I could feel something. I don't love her, I think I love you."

Autumn stood with her arms crossed and smiled in approval, watching as Siobhan wrapped her arms around Vivian and just before anything else could happen Marjorie came tearing through the hallway.

"YOU! WHY THE HELL DID YOU SHOOT CHARLOTTE? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" Marjorie screamed.

Siobhan could see Marjorie's gun still sitting in her pocket so she quickly pushed Vivian out the way and lunged for it before Marjorie could react.

The first time something like this happened Charlotte ended up in hospital but Siobhan was quicker, she grabbed the gun and threw it behind her to Autumn, who caught it and stood off to the side.

"Good catch" Vivian whispered to Autumn as they watched Marjorie practically explode.

"It wasn't on purpose Marjorie!"

Before Siobhan could get another word out Marjorie ran at her, throwing punches and insults left and right. Siobhan had always been a good fighter but she never had the courage to fight back until now.

The fight wasn't much worth watching, it just consisted of Siobhan dodging and catching punches then pushing Marjorie away into Reece's arms, who then dragged her away.

"Wow.. that was pretty boring" Autumn whispered to Vivian and they both laughed a bit before Vivian suddenly looked sad

"I have to get back to work, I'll speak to you later Siobhan, okay?"

Siobhan nodded and they just looked at each other for a few awkward seconds before Vivian rushed away.

Autumn glanced at Siobhan and asked

"Do you still want to visit Char with me?"

"Yeah.." Siobhan sighed and followed Autumn back to the hospital room.

Charlotte was awake but very sleepy, as soon as Siobhan and Autumn walked through the door she perked up.

"Char! I'm so glad you're okay, I am so so so so" Before Siobhan could finish Charlotte just hugged her and said

"It's okay, it was an accident. I could hear that Marjorie's pissed though" Charlotte chuckled and Siobhan relaxed seeing Char as her usual self.

"She tried to fight me in the hallway" Siobhan laughed

"Oh wow, super pissed! Anyway, the doctor said they can discharge me pretty soon! The bullet only grazed my side so I've got some fresh stitches and as soon as they heal enough to be painless and whatever I can go"

Charlotte smiled and spoke with such a happy tone, Siobhan was surprised at every word said with such cheerful enthusiasm but she couldn't help but find it cute.

"How are you so positive char?" Charlotte gave a puzzled look "I mean through everything, you've mostly stayed cheerful. How do you do it?"

"I've lost people in the past. Quite a lot actually. Usually when people grieve they try and keep to themselves, they don't let themselves cry or even feel anything. I learnt that it's much better to let it all out, take as much time as you need and never try to stop yourself from feeling." Char looked like she was a bit upset but smiled and continues

"So that's what I do! I let it all out, it can take days or even weeks to stop mourning someone but it only took me a few days with Mia because of the whole shooting a bunch of people thing.. I let out a lot there" Charlotte laughed a bit and made eye contact with Siobhan

"Huh.. that's exactly what I did"

"Hm?"

"Roger told me he had killed Vivian while I was in hospital, i did exactly what you said and she was always in the back of my mind."

"So that's why you were so upset when we came to see you, minus the whole gun to the head thing"

Siobhan smiled a bit and sighed

"I don't know what to do anymore"

"I'm always gonna be here for you Siobhan."

"Thank you.." Siobhan turned to see what autumn was doing but realised she was gone

"She left a while ago, Marjorie keeps poking her head in the door and trying to see if you're in here" Charlotte laughed

"Oh okay.. I want to kill Roger"

"Woah what"

"I'm tired of this back and forth. I want to be free from him forever"

"Fair enough.. Everyone else will be on your side. We'll figure out a way to do this"

"Thank you Char, Im going to go before Roger gets back and realises I'm gone. I won't be able to visit you so I'll deal with Roger for the time being and wait to see you"

"Okay! As soon as I'm out of hospital I'll meet with the others and make some sort of plan, to be honest we'll probably just show up at the door one day with a ton of guns so don't expect much" Charlotte laughed and Siobhan smiled, waving as she left the room.
