My hunger slows me down greatly. I don't even make it two feet before he grabs me by my hair and yanks me back, full force. I cry out in pain and fall. He releases my hair and walks around me mockingly, "I hate to say this, but you run like a girl." He sounds shocked as he says this.
"Shut up!" I get and wobble dangerously, trying to make myself threatening.
"Ooh a fiesty one. I like you already. But you have nothing to back that up. In fact, you're an easy kill." His eyes darken as he takes a stride towards me.
My eyes widen and my blood runs cold. "Y-you would kill me?"
Suddenly his eyes lighten dramatically, to this statement. To my dismay, he bursts out laughing, "No, you're too fresh to kill. I haven't given you a chance to experience life out here."
"I've experienced enough, you can kill me." His face becomes serious, almost angry.
"I hate people like you. You have an opportunity to experience life like a real wolf and you'd rather be dead. I should kill you." His eyes revert back to their previous dark color. He advances on me again.
"Nobody's stopping you-" He snarls at me, tackling me to the ground in a matter of seconds. He's a breath away from ripping me to pieces when we both stop.
His eyes lighten again, and he smirks. I'm moments from peeing my pants and this guy smirks at me? "It wouldn't be fun just killing you." He strokes my cheek.
His hand moves to my hair and he strokes it as well. This man is sick. "I've always wondered, about werewolves ability to heal themselves in mere minutes." He begins settle himself on my body.
"Ok..." I say cautiously, not wanting to provoke him.
"I've witnessed a werewolf, heal a superficial wound many times but last time I maimed a werewolf I didn't stick around to kill it. But when we crossed paths again, he was limping."
"What are you-"
"I want to test my idea on you. Then kill you. Slowly of course, I love the screams of a dying wolf. Especially if she's so pretty." His sadistic smile is unnerving.
Before I can protest, his hand quickly moves down to my leg. I'm too terrified to move. "Please don't! I promise I'll leave, I won't bother you again!"
"I love it when you plead." His grip tightens on my leg. "Beg some more. I'll consider reconsidering!" His laugh rings out throughout the entire forest, and I think it shudders with me.
My emotions are running high and his psycho bit isn't helping either. "Please just let me go! I'll never bother you again!" The tears are running freely now and he looks up at me.
He has a mischievous look in his eyes. Then it softens for a moment. I can suddenly see the humanity in his eyes. Or at least I think I do. He smiles and releases my leg.
I don't bother hiding the relief on my face. He moves his arms from my chest. I allow myself a couple seconds before sitting up. We stare at each other for a while.
He seems to be waiting for me to say something. "So what's your name?"
He laughs, short and harsh. He opens his palm and waves it in my face before slamming it down on my leg, crushing my bones. I emit a blood curdling scream, that barely sounds human.
"Did you know kicking a guy in the balls is the equivalent to a woman giving birth?" He laughs again, his hand still on my leg as a metallic smell fills the air. "Damn, if I was a bloodsucker."
Every time I move a white hot flash of pain rips through my leg. The pain is too much to bear and I pass out. But just as my head hits the ground, I hear a howl that sounds familiar.
