"The ship can't depart?!"

"But why? What's going on?"

Almost every member of the rising volteccers gathered on the cockpit room.

Today they were planned to go to the galar region, but some malfunction happened to the airship that made their plan delayed.

"The tail fin's response time is off. We're running an automated inspection to ensure there"'s no fault in the system."

Liko thought it's a really big trouble.

'The fin... That sounds like big trouble.'

Ash let out a sigh, it's quite trouble that the ship cannot go properly.

"Guess our destination to Galar Region has to be hold for now."

"Don't worry champ, this stuff always happening. You'll get used to soon."

Murdock just calm the three of the kids, knowing their reaction to the news.

"Just how it goes in this old junker."

"Don't call it a junker. This ship is my pride and joy, converted with lots of love."

Orio replied back, not taking the comment lightly.

Liko's ears perked as she looked at Orio curiously.

"You made this ship yourself??"

"This used to be Gramp's fishing boat..."

She sarcastically looked at Friede while continuing.

"...until Friede gave me the absurd order to make it fly."

"Wait, so the ship has been damaged?!"

"You're getting worked up over nothing."

The voice coming from Orio's rotom phone caught the kids attention.

"Dot!"

Ash looked at Liko curiously.

"Dot? Is that how she really sounds??"

"Yeah, it was when we take a stop before we continue to Paldea."

"Anyway..."

Ash and Liko focused back to Dot, "I'm rebooting it, so quit fussing. It'll be back to normal in half a day at most."

"Yeah, it will take a while until the ship has been fully rebooted. Just look at my screen right now."

True to Rotomdex's words, the screen shows a bar that indicates the process of the ship Reboot.

"Well, now we got nothing to do."

"We need to take the time to make sure the ship is safe to fly. Getting antsy won't help at all."

Ash nodded.

"Actually, it favors me as well because there's a chance i could find an opponent to battle for the world championship."

Liko looked at Ash curiously and then ask him.

"Ash, i know that you want to reach the highest rank for the world championship, but..."

Liko shows her pleading eyes towards Ash, "But... Please... can you take a break from the pokemon battle and just hang out together...?"

When Ash looked at Liko's eyes, he really just stood there in silence. And somehow, he got nothing to say just from how cute Liko looks like.

The adults were chuckling, it looks like Ash cannot resist the power of Liko's baby doll eyes.

Ash after a while let out a warm smile.
