Extra: Dot Comforts

This takes part when Liko and the others are having a picnic outside.

"I can't make this work..."

Dot take off his Gurumin costume, and slump down with how bad her recording went through earlier. She's making a video about any activity everyone can do when go on a picnic, but with Dot never go to a picnic, she don't know what to say fluidly without stopping mid sentence.

As she take a sigh, she take a look on her rotom phone lying on her bed. It shows a photo taken with Liko, Roy, Ash, holding a sandwich on their hand and Their pokemon playing with the ancient pokeball together while looking at the camera.

"I've never been on a picnic."

"Quaxyl?"

As Dot looked at Quaxyl, she realized that her pokemon recommend her to go outside to eat.

"Going outside to eat? That's the biggest pain ever."

Dot took some Ditto-corn snack to eat and chew on her mouth.

A notification ring out from her rotom phone.

"It's from Liko." She clicked on the pop up notification and read it, "We left some sandwiches for you in the meeting room. Me, Ash, and Murdock bring some of it so you can enjoy it."

She closed the app after she done reading it and just sat quietly. But her stomach betray her, it growls because Dot's hungry.

She looks at Her Quaxyl that  keep staring at her.

"Well, those donuts were pretty good..."

"Quax! Quax!"

Finally, she gave up and decide to go outside her room. As she enter the meeting room, she was surprised there were no fully made sandwich, but rather every ingredient to make a sandwich instead.

"What is this...? Everything isn't prepared at all. Wat do i do with all of this...?"

She looked a the piece of meat she grabbed, "I've never made a sandwich..."

Dot immediately panicked when someone opened the door. But she's relieved when it was Ludlow who opened the door.

"Oh, it's you, Gramps."

"Haha, I was invited to a picnic while watching the ship."

"Was it... Liko?"

Dot guessed that while she, Ash, and Murdock helps out giving Dot the sandwich ingredient, she also invited Ludlow as well.

"Indeed. But Ash also invited me as well."

Dot looked at all the ingredient as she asked in clueless tone.

"How is this supposed to be a picnic? It's just making sandwiches."

Ludlow retaliate with answering, "Going outside is not what makes a picnic. Experiences are things you share with others."

"Huh?"

As Dot looking confused, Ludlow decide to continues, "Liko is a kind girl. She found something to enjoy, and must have hoped to share that enjoyment with her friend. Ash also a good boy as well, his presence in the group alone already give us a great vibe of positivity. His experience throughout his Journeys before he became the world monarch shines through as he must have understand what the others feels and wants everyone to enjoy what would be the best and better for them, and that also includes you."

Ludlow focused himself to look at Dot, "Ash also want you to be out here, being yourself is also what would be the best you can do. It's simple, yet effective at all."

"Her friend... and also my best..."

Dot absorb the words that Ludlow said to her, somehow she felt warm inside her heart, just thinking about it.

"Quax-Quax!"

Dot looked at the calling Quaxyl.

"What? You wanna eat this too?"

"Quaxylllll!!!"

Quaxyl replied back with a yes tone.

She let out a sigh, "This is really troublesome."

Although she said that out loud...

Her face shows that she felt really happy about it.

'Maybe next time when i am ready, i would like to talk to Liko and Ash when the time's right. Oh, and maybe i could asked Ash for making a video together when we have the chance, i don't think i mind it.'

Hello guys, i decide to make this extra chapter because i just realized in all of my chapter, i haven't give Dot the chance of showing up in this fanfic, let alone the character building.

I hope this could satisfy all of you.
