Ash And Horizons

Essence of Feels- Part 1

Liko woke up as the sun finally rise, along with the sunlight enters her bedroom.

Yesterday was really fun for Liko, from the start of their date, meeting some of Ash friends, helping out Murdock at battle cafe, seeing Ash battle against Kabu, as well as both her and Roy training.

As she went into sitting position on her bed, Liko looked at both of her hands while still recall of some event that happened yesterday.

Specifically when Ash giving her a Pep talk as well as Kabu words about finding her own path.

Although Ash tried to cheer her last night, it still bugged her about her own path.

"I... Don't know what should i do to find my path..."

"What path are you talking about?"

Liko realized that she forgot she wasn't alone in her bedroom. Turning to her right, there stands May who has dressed herself for the day and adjusted her ribbon on top of her head.

Yesterday, Kai as well as Dawn, Goh, and Chloe decide to part ways as they want to go on their own journey.

While May and Max, decide that they want to go on another adventure again with Ash. Truly they haven't been able to do that since they parted ways.

Now that they got a chance for an adventure with him again this time, both siblings took it with no hesitation at all.

"Morning, Liko."

"Good morning, May-san." Liko told the girl in the room as Liko stroking Scorbunny's head as it purrs from each strokes, "I just don't know what path i believe in. I've been following directions from Ash all this time, and he helps me out on different things that i struggle with since i've met him. But currently, i've been thinking what should i believe in and i'm having a hard time to think about it all night."

It was the truth. All this time, Ash has been supporting and guide her through their adventures and it really allowed Liko to have a progress. But this time she tried to find her own answer, the one that she need to find for herself and without Ash's help for sure.

May chuckled a bit, making Liko pay attention towards her, "Liko, you kinda reminds me how i used to be."

"How you used to be?"

May sat on the bedside just beside where Liko's legs were.

May looked at Liko by turning her head, as she explained, "You know, back then i also start my journey with Ash. Back then i don't know what i want to do when traveling with Ash, and that's until i stumble upon what everyone know as Pokemon Contest."

May looks at her Blaziken as well as pat his shoulder and smiled at his trainer, "Back then, Ash also trains me  as a pokemon trainer, like a mentor in pokemon battle. I guess he also did the same with you, right?"

"Y-Yeah." Liko pick up Sprigatito and let her pokemon sat on her lap, "Sprigatito and me got stronger ever since i trained with Ash. I just cannot allow myself and Sprigatito being so much Burden towards Ash. I want to be strong that one day, he will be able to rely on me by his side."

"That's a good thing to know. Anyway back to what i'm about to say, after many times i have lost on the pokemon contest tournament, i've realized that the battle style i've learned from Ash doesn't suit me at all. So apparently when we parted ways, i've decide to go on more pokemon contest on Johto region. The reason is to learn what battle style that really suit me."

May looked at Liko again and reassure her, "So from what i've experienced, you don't have to worry too much about finding your path. After all, time will show you the path that you will choose and you take as well."
