The Opening Ceremony! Kabu vs Ash! Part 1

"Well, i didn't say i don't enjoy something so random happens whenever Ash around, but why does it only always when we're around him?"

"Truthfully, me and Max almost forgot how it truly random whenever we're with him."

Just as they reached the battle cafe, the group find out about how Murdock used to be friend with one of the chefs in battle cafe, named Mitchell. They found out from Murdock how they used to be friends and having friendly rivalry in their bakery, but when their mascot milcery evolved to a Ruby swirl which benefit murdock's cake more than Mitchell's. And that eventually led to an argument between the two of them, which resulted with Murdock and Alcremie left the bakery.

And so, Murdock and Liko having double battle in the cooking competition against Mitchell. Apparently the battle transformed into a bake off together with Mitchell and Murdock, and in the end, both of them just apologize and fixing their friendship. Alcremie also happy for the result they got as well.

At the side, Kai asked Ash, "Well, why didn't you tried to help them out? I thought for sure you also likely would help Murdock and your girlfriend."

Ash shook his head, much to the surprise of Kai, Max, May, and Dawn, "Nah, as much as i want to help out, i want Liko to have some experience with helping out on different things."

"Come on, Ash!" Goh nudge Ash shoulder with his elbow, "I know you wanna join, you always get excited for something that's fun."

"Yeah, it's fun just like how i win in the baking competition in ballonlea with everyone and even you say that my cake is delicious."

"Yeah, Yeah, keep showing off Mr. world champion!"

May, Dawn, and Max tilted their head, "Ash can bake a cake?"

Chloe then told his other friends, "Yeah, he made an extraordinary cake when we go to Ballonlea in a baking competition over there. Even Leon, the previous world monarch also lost against Ash."

Dawn whistled playfully, "I guess our Ash Ketchum really growing up!"

"I always growing up!"

Ash then get himself towards Liko and Roy, who watched Murdock and his friend do a friendly hug while spraying a fountain of cries from their eyes.

"Liko, you did really good."

Liko nodded, "Thanks, Ash." She looks at the two grown men sobbing, "Grown-ups can cry, too. They're just like me... Just like us."

"You're right." Roy agree with her.

The remaining of Ash friends joins with Ash, Liko, and Roy together.

"I think all of us do have our moments of crying, right?" Goh began the conversation.

Everyone nodded, May then told to everyone, "There's no shame in crying. i recently realized that the pain we bottled up only hurts us more on the inside. Sometimes it's the best choice to let it all out."

"I do agree on that."

It was Ash who voiced that instantly, making everyone realized that Ash have gone through many painful experience in his adventure as well. Especially when he is the one that has went through the longest adventure among all of them.

"Oh yeah, Ash has been on an adventure longer than all of us!"

"Now that you mention it, we never asked if you're okay or not. Emotionally i mean."

Ash turned to them with a genuine smile, "Don't worry everyone! I already went over it!"

Now that Roy finally realize that Ash has his friends with Liko and Ash himself, he then started to talk with them, "Oh yeah! Aren't you guys were some of Ash's friends that travels with him back then?"
