It's disheartening to see that I received only 24 votes. It truly feels heartbreaking. To the 24 individuals who supported me, thank you so much! I'm setting a new target now. If you feel inclined, please consider voting again. I don’t expect much, but every bit of support means a lot to me.

Holding the newspaper, a tear fell down my face. My friend Priyanshu was gone, and the autopsy had confirmed it was a suicide.

But why? It was hard to believe that someone as cheerful as him could have taken such a step.

His family was devastated, as expected. Yet, deep down, I couldn’t shake the feeling that there was more to it than just a suicide.

His girlfriend, Soumili, was also in my department. The three of us had been very close.

She had been depressed and stressed because of that certain news. They used to fight a lot, but deep down, their love was something we couldn’t even imagine. It hurt my heart to look at her.

She had always been thin, but lately, the sadness had made her look like a skeleton.

If this had continued, she could have died.

My wedding was supposed to happen in a month, but now it has been postponed for two and a half months.

Priyanshu was no longer with us, and this tragedy delayed our plans.

We weren’t in the mood for a wedding after losing such a precious friend, but our parents kept insisting.

My feelings for Anirban had grown a bit. He had always been my best friend, my childhood friend.

I guess that’s why I had become a little more attached to him.

Our company had recovered from its downfall, and it was doing even better than before.

I wasn’t really involved in it, though. Anirban had just given me a bit of information about how things were going.

As for Vibhav, he wasn’t around anymore. But ever since I met him, nothing had felt right. It was like the calm before the storm.
