Hello, Huntler fans!
It's been a while since I've said anything about the sequel to The Betrothed, huh? Yeah, it's been over a year since the book has ended and a few months since I gave an official update on the upcoming sequel. I'm very grateful that you guys have been waiting so patiently 'til now...
Well, now that My "Supposedly Straight" Gay Boyfriend is coming to an end, it's time to start on The Betrothed: Book 2. Yes, that's the official title since I'm unable to be creative with titles right now. Also, I really can't think of any title that's fitting for what I've got planned in my head.
First things first, the book will start either this Wednesday or Thursday. It depends on how ready it is for publishing. Make sure to stay tuned because the book can come up at any time during those two days!
Secondly, there will probably be some changes (major or not) to some of the characters' personalities. When I wrote the first book, I was a little clouded by too much fluff and sugar that it ended up being too unrealistic. The way some of my characters act isn't even something close to how a real person would act.
This means that updates to the book will be on my terms. Usually at the end of every update I inform you guys when the next one will be posted. That will not be the case with this book. I will write on my own pace so I can ensure quality chapters, so please be patient!
Also, please understand that I'm an incoming college student and I don't know how all the changes in my schedule will affect how often I can update. Classes don't start until late September, but I just want to let you guys know now!
The book will continue to follow the lives of Tyler Lewis and Hunter Young as they live their life as a married couple. The storyline will start a year after the end of the prequel (with the exception of the prologue).
Also, the book will be divided into THREE parts. Part One will address their upcoming legal marriage, which I think is fitting for our time as gay marriage has just been legalized throughout the whole country.
Parts Two and Three will be discussed when we get there! :)
