Tyler's POV
When morning came, I woke up with everything flooding my mind. All the troubles that were bothering me the previous night turned my day into a living nightmare. I just wanted to lay back in bed and just... fade away. I really didn't want to deal with anything right now.
Unfortunately, I have to go to school today. I willed myself to get up from the bed and grab my stuff so I can shower and get ready to go to school. I relaxed as the lukewarm water cascaded down my back and slid down towards my legs. I quickly shampooed and soaped up before stepping out and drying myself.
After my morning routine, I went down to the breakfast table where everyone, except Hunter, was already seated. Minutes later, Hunter came running down the stairs while I was in the middle of eating a pancake. He I felt him watching me to so I looked up at him.
"I'm taking you to school today," he said firmly. I just nodded and went back to my breakfast. I usually just walk to school or take the bus, but I have no idea what he has in mind today.
After breakfast, I told Hunter to go to the car already while I run upstairs to grab my stuff. Once I stepped out of the front door, Hunter was ready to go and the car's engine was already turned on.
I slipped into the passenger seat.
"Why are you suddenly taking me to school today?" I asked, breaking the silence.
"You never answered my question from last night."
"Which?"
"Would you like to go out with me?"
"Well, at least you formed it into a question. But sure, why not. If it'll get the elders off our backs, sure."
He looked like he wanted to say something, but he kept it to himself. What was he thinking?
"Great! Make time later then. We're hanging out," he said with a cheerful tone.
"What?" I asked, a shocked look plastered on my face.
"We're starting today. I'm picking you up after school so we can hang out."
"Already?"
"We have no time to waster, Tyler. Grandma's onto us."
I sighed deeply. "Fine."

As I entered the school and walked through the halls to my locker, the gay people suddenly became more noticeable to me. I didn't even know there were a lot of gay people in this school! I'm not sure if they know I was gay, but I'm not hiding it anyway. It's nice to know that bullying wasn't a problem here.
When I reached my locker, I exchanged stuff for what I'll need for my first four periods. I glanced at the clock and saw that I still had five minutes before class started.
"Hey, Tyler!" Eric greeted. His arm flinging itself around my shoulder. Eric has become more comfortable being around me. He gave me a peck on the cheek.
Too comfortable.
I rubbed the spot he kissed with my palm only to have him place another peck on my other cheek.
"Will you quit it?" I hissed. He shook his head and shrugged. "What's with your weird act today."
"What? i can't show affection towards my friends?"
