Hunter's POV

There was only about a week and a day left before Tyler's birthday and all the preparations have been made. All I really had to do now was make sure that everything goes according to plan. Grandma, Stan, and Ina actually did help me choose an engagement ring and I ended up spending about two grand for it.

I didn't care though. I wanted Tyler to like whatever he was going to wear on his finger for the rest of his life and I wanted it to look perfect on him. Yes, I plan to make Tyler mine forever. I will do everything in my power to make sure that our love for each other will never waver.

It was Friday today and since there was no school, Tyler went out with his friends. As soon as he gets back home, I'm taking him out for the weekend so we can have a pre-celebration of his birthday. For now though, I had to tell Cassandra and Michael wherever the party was going to be held. I already sent them their tickets, so hopefully they'll be ready to arrive on Thursday.

I pulled out my laptop and prayed that Tyler didn't log off of his Skype account. Fortunately he didn't. I opened it and saw that Cassandra was not online. Since I couldn't talk to her via Skype, I decided to just text her.

"Cassandra, the party will be held at the Hilton in Studio City. Arrive early. The party starts at 6PM on the 28th."

I locked my phone and the pocketed it before standing up from my desk and going downstairs. As I reached at the foot of the stairs, Nathan came in through the front door.

"Where've you been, Nate?" I asked suspiciously.

His behavior has changed quite a bit for the past couple of weeks since we heard he hung out with Eric. He's also constantly out of the house for unknown reasons and I figured it had something to do with Eric.

He shrugged. "Just out." He turned to walk away but I grabbed on to his shoulder and spun him around.

"Out with whom?" I pressed, cocking an eyebrow.

"Does it matter?" he asked.

"It's Eric isn't it? You're dating him!" I cheered. He's finally gotten over that Tristan prick. It's been a while since, but it's nice to finally have the old Nathan back.

"Pssh... No!" he answered. I smirked.

"Ahaha! Sure! Stop denying it! Just admit that you're going out with him, there's no shame in that. It's nice to finally see you happy again," I said as I pulled him in for a hug.

"Yeah, he seems to be better than his brother," he said.

I burrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "Wait, what dis his brother have to do with this?" I asked, pulling away, but leaving my arms around him. My mind went a mile a minute trying to figure out what he was trying to say and I finally came to a conclusion. "You mean Eric comes from that idiot's family?!" I roared.

I knew I knew that guy from somewhere! He was Tristan's brother! We've never met personally, but I have seen him hanging around Tristan before. I just didn't know that they were related to each other. I opened my mouth to immediately disapprove of their relations, but Nathan cut me off.

"No! Eric's not like that! He's actually fighting with Tristan right now after finding out what he did to me!" he defended.

"Yeah, but you can't tell with these people, Nathan! Just a few weeks ago, he was clinging on to Tyler like a monkey! I don't trust this guy," I told him.
