Sort of a filler chapter, but it fills in a little bit more of the gaps in between. Enjoy!

Scott's POV
Nothing I say right now might make any sense, but I just really really miss Tyler. His birthday is coming up soon, so I'm trying to avoid him as much as I can. Sounds crazy, right? Well, you haven't heard of what I was planning yet, so don't judge right away!
I have something special planned for Tyler's birthday. I know I told him I would be visiting him this week, but I decided to just push it back for his birthday. Yeah, my birthday present for him is... well, me. I know he misses me a lot too.
I got a little worried though when he said he needed to talk to me about something, but it can probably wait until later. There's only a couple of weeks left before Tyler's birthday and I need to start thinking of what present I'm gonna get him!
Yeah, I got Cassandra in on it. She was supposed to get Tyler's address in Los Angeles so I can make a surprise visit to Tyler when the special day comes. I didn't bother telling Michael about it because I knew he would be hurt.
I was probably a little harsh on him when I told him I didn't like him. It didn't make much sense to me though. Since when has he liked me? Has it already been that long that he could honestly declare to me that he loves me? Love is a word that has a strong meaning, and I can only admit to have fallen in love with just one person in my entire life.
Tyler.
Because of him, my life is set now. I'm no longer a wanderer who didn't know what the hell to do with his life. Tyler came in to my life literally acting as my guiding light.
I'm supposed to meet with Cassandra today at the park, but I think I'll just invite them over to my place so it'll be a little more quiet. I'm not really the most outgoing type, so meeting new people was very rare for me. I have my own friends too, and I'm thankful for them. Well, specifically one of them, because they helped me meet Tyler.
I still remember that day as if it were yesterday - no, as if it only happened a few minutes ago. I was on the phone helping my friend out his if relationship troubles as I was going out of the bakery and I bumped into Tyler because I wasn't paying attention. It was those striking eyes of his that caught my attention and I couldn't keep myself off of him by the next time I saw him.
Pulling my phone out, I dialed Cassandra's number so I can invite her over. After a few rings, she finally answered, "Hey, Scott, what's up?"
"Well, we need to talk about my birthday present for Tyler, so maybe you could come over to my place?" I asked hesitantly, hoping that my invitation didn't sound a little... weird.
"Uh... Sure! What time did you want to meet?"
"At noon? That's probably the best. We can have lunch here too," I suggested.
"That'll be great! I'll see you at noon then," she chirped before hanging up without even saying goodbye. Weird girl.
I can't, for the life of me, cook anything properly, so I figured I'd order some pizza instead. I looked online for the nearest pizza place and called to me an order for them to deliver at noon. The clock was showing 11AM so there was still an hour before she came over.
I contemplated on sending a text to Tyler, but decided against it. I'm a little excited and impatient when it comes to Tyler, so I'm kind of afraid of ruining the surprise for him, even though he already knows that I'm visiting him at some point. At least he'll never figure out it'll be on his birthday, since I already told him I wouldn't be able to make it!
