Chapter 4 - Leo

There was an announcement suddenly made over the intercom. "OOOOooggglliieee Booogellieee!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

A man with a beard and a hook hand appears on the screen saying, "YARGH! This be our cruise now you land-lubbers! Be swabbing the decks for Captain Ronaldo the Black Beard if ye don't wish to walk the plank. Meet at the central deck in 5 minutes or I will send my crew after you!"

I crawl out of bed begrudgingly to come out to a bunch of pirates wearing neon necklaces and carrying faux swords around. It was very obvious that wherever their real equipment was, it wasn't there. They were passing out booze in numbers, going, "Yah man, this will be a great party, don't you know?" and another, "No dude, we are supposed to invade the ship! It's meant to be scary!"

"Y'all are complete idiots," says Carmen DeAngelo.

The two of them had been tied up by the pirates, while David Juarez, the soldier, was exasperated, saying, "No part of me planned this," while his commander walked around in absolute frustration, realizing his subordinates were ashore.

"Dad, we lost two of the most important agencies in human history," said Lux.

"I'm kind of glad we lost them," said David. "I feel like this is a time to really think about what matters in life. You know?"

I hear Jackie Juarez's voice in the background screaming, "No you will not take over this ship! I was a leader of the Miami Mafia! Do you think I am scared of a bunch of unhygienic sea clowns? I am having my wedding today and you all disturbed me from my beauty sleep!"

The Pirates were a little mournful at this and apologetic, hiding their drinks behind their hands and whispering to one another.

Then the leader, Ronaldo, walks up to Jackie and raises her hand in the air.

"YARGH! That is what you will have! A wonderful wedding. Boys! Go ahead and get everything set up! We have a wedding to plan!"

So, while furniture is being moved about the ship, I see a giant shadow creature that is crawling his way up the stairs. He has long hands, a long neck, and pitch-black eyes. I think that I might be going absolutely insane, but he emerges from the shadows to reveal himself to be Jasper.

"Is everything okay?" he asks. "I heard some noise upstairs and some gunshots. Everyone downstairs is ready to kill these guys."

"No, no," I sigh, "They agreed to help plan Jackie's wedding!"

"Oh," says Jasper, "I might have misread that situation because I was watching the other couple that's over there."

A crowd gathered around now "Ooohing" and "Aaahing" as David Juarez kneeled down on one knee in front of his fiancée Jodie.

"Jodie, ever since I've known you, I've seen you to be the calm that held me together," said David. "Now, I already proposed, but I had been originally planning to have my wedding on the same day as Jackie. Why? Well, it's cheaper, and we weren't going to be able to afford anything else, to be honest. Jodie, you want to get married?"

Dr. Jodie, a bit amused, said "I thought this was going to be a simple affair with a few people. I don't think that's what Jackie had in mind, but you know what? Who cares? We probably will vanish from these pages sooner or later. It's almost as if we are going to have 3 characters that are going to take over the story now." She looks in my direction at that statement then back to his fiancée. "Who cares at this point right? Let's go get married!"

Everyone on the deck cheers as a DJ turns on the music loud, and soon there is a perpetual EDM beat that is blaring through the stereo.

The Pirates did not disappoint! I hardly had to lift a finger as the stage was readied. An entire assortment of flowers overlooks the altar, where the two couples say, "I do." There is a huge walkway of chairs with white ribbons tied to them that all have flower vines of pink blossoms on them. Then the Guardian Spinela, with the help of the bear Emrion, decided to go ahead and bring out a ton of food. Jasper was floundering with drink orders, and Ozara was crying in a corner for some reason. I went to grab her, but she disappeared.
