"Nope. My family is. I don't basically earn six digits of numbers and own a house. I'm just a dependent girl." Pahayag ko.
It's Gray, I've been talking to him on the phone for half an hour now. We settled in each separate room and thanks to that i have a quiet privacy of my own. Malinis naman ang kwarto ko, inaayos ko lang ang mga damit ko at hinalungkat ang mga childhood books and accesories ko. At habang may ginagawa ako... Gray and i have been talking, para na ring kasama ko siya rito.
"Oh. Kala ko pwede na kitang maging sugar mommy eh"
Natawa naman ako at binaba ang libro sa kama ko. "Gosh, Gray... That is a very disturbing idea of yours. Bata pa po ako sir..." I joked also.
"Sir ka diyan. Anyways, hanggang kailan ka mag e stay diyan?" He asked.
"Hanggang January... Bakit? Miss mo ko?" I teased.
"Even if i tell you that i missed you... Hindi pa rin kita makikita pagbalik mo"
Yeah, that's right. Aside from that I don't know his real name... Hindi ko rin alam kong tagasaan siya but...this is for the better,right?
Less interaction, less harm yet no satisfaction.
"Zariah! We're about to swim now!" Tawag ni kuya Eight sa labas ng kwarto ko.
I sighed, "Bye now, namo. My cousins are looking for my presence now." Paalam ko.
"Alright, enjoy the holidays,tangi"
With that, i hung up the call. My family planned a dinner beside the pool while my cousins planned a night swimming. I already changed my clothes into swimwear. Sinilip ko ang labas ng bintana and the sun is almost set.
"Hi, Benjamin!" Tawag ko sa pinsan kong pinaglihi ng katahimikan. Each of us has its own different trait. Gaya ni Benjamin na sobrang payapa at tahimik.
He just nodded and went out to reach for my hand which i gladly accepted. Sabay kaming bumaba ng hagdan. Kita ko naman ang mga kasambahay na busy sa paghahanda ng pakakain namin. I said my greet with Benjamin and went off to the pool area. Beside the pool area, was this huge dining table that is good for 20 people.
"Ay! Ayan na ang mga late comers!" Bulyaw ni ate Lair samin. She is one of the most girly and extravagant among us. She's totally opposite of her brother na si Benjamin, napaka straight forward at palaban si ate. Kaedaran niya rin si Kuya Zander.
I laughed as i shook my head. Paglapit ko sa pool ay bumitaw si Benjamin and instantly jump off the pool. A lot of them laughed and cheered habang ako ay naiwan, lahat sila ay nasa pool na, nagtatampisaw. Huhubadin ko pa sana ang bath robe ko ng biglang may humawak sa dalawang kamay ko at paa.
I yelp in shock. It was kuya Eight and kuya Zander-- the partners in crime. Mag height at magkasing edad lang din sila.
"Oh my gosh,kuyas! No, not again!" I shouted in panic. Ginawa na rin nila ito noong nakaraan, they swung and threw me off the pool.
But instead of letting me go, tamawa pa ang dalawang higante. "Nuh-uh" Komento ni kuya Eight.
"Ang sama niyong dalawa!" Sigaw ko.
But my other cousins chant the opposite, "Throw her off..."
"Throw her off..."
After two swings, my body lifted in the air and i immediately closed my eyes and prepared myself for the impact. The cold water splashed over me. Buti nalang talaga at hindi pinasukan ng tubig ang ilong ko. Pagka ahon ko sa tubig ay kaagad ko silang sinamaan ng tingin.
