Napa iling naman siya sa puno ng sarkasmo kong sagot. "You and your mouth." Tanging ma sabi niya habang bitbit ang guitara niya papalabas ng resthouse.
I went back to Abo's house for a visit, which wasn't what he was expecting. But honestly, who wouldn't love his adorable pets? I kept going back for three days straight, and this time, I even asked for permission. I felt right at home in Abo's house, and I have to admit, I was really comfortable hanging out with him. Although we often argue and our personalities clash, he still made sure to walk me back to the gate after each time we spent together.

I changed into my swimsuit—a rash guard and sweatpants—getting ready to take a dip in the ocean. The sea was so clean and refreshing, and the weather was pleasantly cool since it was around 3 in the afternoon. Abo was sitting on the beach, strumming his guitar by the shore, while I was swimming sa di kalayuan.
"Hobby?" I asked while still paddling my feet. Alam ko namang naririnig niya ako, so I don't have to shout.

He hummed and showed off his smug face, "Yeah, kaya mainggit ka."
I rolled my eyes due to his comment. Hinayaan ko nalang siya at nagpatuloy sa paglangoy. I tried to swim a bit far, magaling naman ako lumangoy, so I don't need to get nervous.
It's boring. Niyaya ko si Abo, but sadly he refused; sawa na raw siya sa dagat. I was about to go on the shore when a silly idea came into my mind.
Hmm, it'll be fun with a little prank. Katuwaan lang naman.
Lumangoy ako sa kalayuan; hindi naman siya gaanong kalalim. I took a deep breath before starting to act like drowning.
"Tulong! H-help!" I acted as if I were helplessly drowning. Tumalon talon pa ako upang mapansin niya. I splashed a lot of water and begged for him to save me.
"Huy, Riah!" It was his concerned voice shouting. I saw him come running after me; hindi siya nagdalawang isip na bitawan ang guitara at tumalon sa tubig.
I heard him cursing swimming near me. Napak wholesome ng expression niya, alalang-alala sakin. Gusto ko tuloy matawa, but no... I kept acting not until he'd reach me.
"Abo!!" I shouted.
Nang makarating siya sa puwesto ko ay kaagad niya akong binuhat at niyakap. I was a bit taken aback by the sudden touch; I felt his heart beat thumping loudly, and he was literally catching his breath.
"It's alright... I'm here." Nahihirapan niyang pahayag. I was leaning against his hard chest; it wasn't my first time, but I feel like it is.
I look at him, catching his gaze. Guilt washed over me when I saw how the worry spread to his handsome face.
It wasn't a good prank.
He cupped my chin and inquired if I was okay: "Ayos kalang? Naka inom ka ba ng maraming tubig? May masakit ba?"
Oh my gosh, hindi naman ito ang ine expect kong gawin niya eh. Akala ko aasarin niya ako dahil hindi ako marunong lumangoy o kaya tatawanan niya ako.
