Ashteroh's mother smiled kindly at me as she welcomed me into their home. I was feeling nervous to the core, completely taken aback by her presence. "Lava cake?" Takang tanong ni tita pero hindi pa lumipas ang segundo... Pumalakpak si tita parang may naalala. "Ah! Kaya ka pala tumawag sakin na pasalubongan kita ng maraming lava cake---"
"No need to declare it ma" Pigil ni Ashteroh kung ano mang sasabihin ng mama niya. Napakamot naman ako sa kilay, hindi maintindihan ang dalawa.
"Ay sus! Binata ka na talaga... Pareho kayo ng kapatid mo!" Masayang sabi ni tita Yunis.
"Kapatid?" Hindi ko mapigilang tanong.
"Yes, i do have a brother..." Mahinang saad ni Ashteroh sakin.
May kapatid pala siya? Cool. Hindi ko alam yun ah.
Tita looked so cool and friendly kaya hindi ko gets ang pamilya ko bakit nila nilalait si tita Yunis. Oh baka naman... Lumalabas lang ang sungay ni tita kapag Cueva na ang pinaguusapan. Shocks! Last ko na bang balik dito?
"Pasensiya na kay mama,ha? Ganon lang talaga yun... hindi nawawalan ng energy" He said as he scratched his nape.
Natawa naman ako, "No, she's cool. Masayahin ang mama mo... Ang sweet niyo nga tignan kapag nagbabangayan kayo eh" komento ko.
Kasalukuyan kaming naka upo sa balkonahe nila, habang nilalaro ang mga aso niya.
"Ganon ba kayo ng mama mo rin?"
My smile faded upon hearing the question... "Oo, noon" I said as i remembered how my mother used to tease me and make me laugh.
"Bakit noon?" Kalmado niyang tanong. He's making sure that i won't be offended.
