The sun was low, and the sky was on fire with a blazing sunset and into a calming twilight. As the moon slowly rose in the place of honor on the darkening violet backdrop, the stars around it had deviated drastically from the night before. Prominent constellations moved in a wide arc parallel to the moon's path, while the lesser ones framed them intermittently. The North Star was shining brightly as the moon.
But back at the Monastery, a pair of Ninja Masters and Misako were in the library while waiting for the Ninja to return from their mission. Master Wu, Master Garmadon, and Misako could all be seen inside of the Monastery's library to search for answers regarding the ancient history about the Elemental Source Dragons. There's a large desk made of solid wood with books, scrolls, and quills strewn across the top and stacked in piles. The walls were covered with bookshelves that almost reached the ceiling. But there were clean windows at the far left corners. Every corner had a spot to sit at and read in: a few cushioned window seats, arrangement of carpets, or some desks with chairs. But as they continued searching through their late father's work, they noticed that Pixal had entered the library.
"Hey Pixal, any news from the others?" Master Wu asked her.
Pixal nodded. "They're returning home on the Bounty. But they have alerted the other Elemental Masters about the situation and they all went into hiding in the Temple of Airjitzu now, in case the danger comes back again."
"That's a wise idea," agreed Master Garmadon. "There could be a bigger situation than we think."
But at that moment, Misako noticed that the moon had become a quarter moon. She remembered her studies about the regular moon phases and the rare moon phases (some which led to bad news). But as she gazed at it, Misako sensed a hint of an ominous foreboding as well as sensing something like this has happened before. Sensing the eerie atmosphere, the two Sons of the First Spinjitzu Master followed Misako's gaze.
"A quarter is always an omen, but what could it mean?" Master Wu asked.
"An urgent message from the Spirit Realm I'm afraid." The three of them turned to see a familiar person. He had dark black hair with a single streak of green on the left side. His clothes looked old and well-used, while his eyes shone a faint dark green. But the most alarming fact was that his skin looked glowing green, and somewhat transparent.
"Morro?" The trio glanced at each other before eyeing the former Elemental Master of Wind surprisingly.
His breath shook from the panic and exertion, taking only a second to steady it before staggering back to his feet. "The Ninja." He ran a hand through his inky black hair to clear from his eyes. it from his face. "A great evil has been found yet again, where are they?"
"The Ninja is rescuing some of the Elemental Masters and making an ancient discovery," Master Wu replied, furrowing his brow as worry laced his voice. "Morro, what is the meaning of this? What do you know?"
"A an evil person of the past is making themself known, it's after my sister," Morro spilled out in his panic. "We have to find her!"
"Audra is with the Ninja," Pixal informed him.
"What?" Morro asked, confused on why his sister would be with them.
"She returned to the Monastery a little over a month ago, and has been training with the Ninja,"  spoke up Master Garmadon.
"You mean she's—" Morro started to ask them.
Only for Master Wu to finish his sentence. "An Elemental Master, yes. Audra is the new Master of Wind here in Ninjago."
"That's why she wants her..." Morro's voice shook with emotion. "Hecate will be hunting her now because of what happened in the past, and with Audra as my sister and an Elemental Master, it believes she can get it what it wants."
"Hecate?" asked Master Garmadon. "Who's she?"
"She was a close friend with our parents," Morro revealed to Master Wu, Master Garmadon, Misako, and Pixal grimly. "But all of that changed when our father was forced to choose between our mother and Hecate. At the end of the day, our father chose our mother. A few years has passed, Hecate was extremely upset about our father choosing our mother. Hecate continued to threatened him and my family if he didn't run away with her. But he had downright refused to run away with Hecate right there on the spot. Hecate had refused to listen to reason. He was forced to defend himself from Hecate's attempted attacks. But she managed to escape and have sworn vengeance on everyone that has the Valiente name." Morro shuddered, silent tears ran down from his eyes. "She had fulfilled her vengeful promise by becoming a group of gangsters that called themselves 'Wind Hunters' and attacked us in our apartment. Dad gave me and Audra our Elemental Powers before the two of us escaped from the fight. As the years grew by, we both learned how to become street wise together and then we met Master Wu." Morro nodded to his former Master and fatherly figure. "But all of that changed when I got obsessed with the Green Ninja Prophecy, Audra tried to knock some sense into me and ended up following me to stop me. But we were separated from each other, and I thought I had failed to protect her." Morro sighed regretfully. "I soon saw her when I was in Stiix Village, chatting with Ronin and Dareth." Morro sighed again. "I know I have to fix the mistakes that I made."
"I'll send a message to the Ninja and alert of them about the situation," spoke up Pixal.

But back with the Ninja, the Destiny's Bounty is clearly on autopilot as everyone — especially the Elemental Masters — slept in their rooms.
Audra jumped when she heard a quiet knock on the bedroom door and she went to open the door. She couldn't see anyone behind the door, so maybe Audra had imagined it. She opened the door wide enough to poke her head out of her room, just to make sure nobody was awake and trying to get her attention. As Audra looked to the left, her eyes landed on the green pajama clad back of a retreating figure.
"Lloyd?" Audra asked in a soft whisper, causing the figure to be tensed. They turned around slowly, a hand rubbing at their neck sheepishly and it was indeed Lloyd.
"Yeah... Sorry, I—I didn't mean to wake you it was just—" He stuttered nervously, avoiding her gaze. He slowly trailed off and went completely silent and Audra felt her face softened in sympathy.
"Do you want to stay with me?" Audra asked him softly.
Lloyd nodded again, much more eagerly, and bounded over to her, his footsteps completely silent. She stepped back and opened the door to the room for him to hop into the bed. Once Lloyd laid down in her bed, Audra carefully joined him in the bed. She smiled softly as Lloyd laid his head on her chest as he snuggled next to her.
Audra's hands gently scratched across his hair, and he closed his eyes blissfully like a cat. His hair is so soft and silky to the touch. The silent tension that weighed on his shoulders was started to fade by her gentle fingers, causing him to relax like a sleepy cat. She chuckled at the amusingly cute sight. He was so adorable.
Lloyd went for a relaxed sigh, but a different sound left him; a low rumble came from deep within his chest, and they both had to take pause at the odd reverberation. Her fingers stopped scratching. His bliss came to a screeching halt. Their eyes met in confusion.
"...What was that?" Audra asked curiously.
"I don't know," replied Lloyd answered, bewildered.
Confused, her fingers returned to gentle scratching, and then paused when Lloyd's eyes closed and the low sound was made again. His eyes snapped open and stared at her in bafflement.
Her eyebrows knotted in thought. It sounded a little familiar. It sounded a bit like Oman when he was being petted by Audra. "Did you just purr?"
Lloyd's eyes widened at her question before shaking his head in denial. "That's not what happened." But he seemed a little unsure.
Audra shook her head and sat up in startled awe. She stared down at him was one of wide eyes. "That was totally a purr."
"No," Lloyd firmly denied, his cheeks blushing brightly. "No, it wasn't."
"I think I know what a purr sounds like, Lloyd." Audra smiled at him in amused sympathy.
"Humans don't—" His whispered insistence came to an end as fast as it began. He wasn't exactly the prime example of a human. "It wasn't a purr!"
"Aww!" Audra cooed, gently playing with a cowlick of his blond hair. This was the best discovery of her life. Her crush could purr like his Elemental Dragon. "You're so cute! My little dragon!"
Before Lloyd could protest, Audra brought Lloyd into an embrace. She quickly returned to her gentle scratching, and smiled warmly as his eyes closed and the purring was heard again. The perfect mix of her relaxing embrace and her gentle scratching caused Lloyd to fall into her arms limply and she smiled as his face was laid on her left shoulder, completely relaxed. Lloyd's breathing evened and he stilled nearly all movement, making her certain he was asleep up and she soon fell asleep next to him peacefully too.
