The stars sparkled like distant diamonds in the sky, while the sky is like deep sapphire blue velvet that sparkled overhead. As the clouds cleared, a silver circle of the full moon had also appeared in the night sky and had casted its soft silvery beams of light over the desert.
Though, driving through the emptied streets of the city was one of the dark gray trucks that the Silver Ninja had secretly managed to place the tracker on. But secretly following the truck were a secretive group of shadowy figures. So, one foot in front of another, as the night wore on, they each ran through the rooftops of the city. They each jumped over fallen objects, dodged the chimneys, and continued running alongside each other. The hours passed quickly as they navigated the many obstacles.
But back with the truck, a red Vermillion named Slackjaw and his henchmen jumped out from the back of the truck. He used his strength to go through the door of an old garbage depot.
"We're in, boys!" called out Slackjaw.
One of his henchmen puts up a ladder and climbed it. He lost his balance when grabbing the box and everything in it comes crashing down. He landed inside a box of rocks and Slackjaw grabbed him out and tossed him away.
"What are we looking for, Boss?" asked one of the confused henchmen.
"Something of great importance." Slackjaw paused for a moment. "And my idiot of a brother has left behind by accident." Slackjaw soon pulled out his map with a smile. "Ah, found it."
The lights were immediately turned on and the group of henchmen covered their eyes. Being silhouetted by the lights were all of the Ninja glaring at them.
That's when all chaos had broke loose.
The group had come into this fight trying to get rid of the remaining Vermillion soldiers scattered about the depths, trying to deter them from from making another appearance to terrorize civilians. The only problem? When one was smashed, they weren't able to clear the broken armor in time, leaving the smaller snakes to remanifest within the material back into a fighting form, which was taking a major toll on everyone.
Out of the corner of her eye, Audra could see Cole and Jay back to back, both looking like they'd been through the wringer as they battled the warriors. Zane was helping Nya freeze and wash away the Vermillion out of the armor. Kai and Lloyd were left fighting solo, while Audra was either jumping between the teams and/or fighting solo. Audra was soon kicking more a lot of heck out of the thugs than Kim Possible in her movies. One of the thugs grabbed her from behind. She stomped onto their foot, grabbed their arm and flung them into others.
But as Audra continued seizing the sight of the battle, she knew what had to be done at once. She looked at her other companions, seeing how busy they were. Audra could see Cole and Jay back to back, both looking like they'd been through the wringer as they battled the warriors. Zane was helping Nya freeze and wash away the Vermillion out of the armor. Kai and Lloyd were left fighting solo. Kai was holding strong against his own, but he has to rescue Jay from a nearby Vermillion soldier. But Lloyd seemed like he needed her aid.
Knowing what has to be done, Audra joined him and started fighting alongside him.
"Lloyd!" Audra's voice could be heard with great strength and determination. "I have an idea of how to end this! But you must be careful!"
He glanced at nervously, clearly wondering what she was about to do and was worried if her next actions would hurt herself. "Please be careful Audra." Her expression softened and nodded understandingly to him.
Audra's eyes started glowing bright white as she started to tap into the ancient dragon power of her ancestors. She started levitating in the air and gave out blinding white light from her. It came out of her like an erupting volcano and engulfed Lloyd. Once the transferred energy came to a stop, he soon went into a massive bright green Spinjitzu.
All of the Ninja stepped back from Lloyd's Spinjitzu as he took care of the rest of the Vermillion, the Ninja were all amazed at the sight of it happening before their eyes. Once all of the Vermillion soldiers were defeated, all of the Ninja reunited with Audra, who lay motionless on the floor.
"Audra?!" The panicked voice of Lloyd stirred her out of her stupor. She winced, feeling extremely light headed as she lifted her head slightly to look at him, his eyes wide. He stepped back in horror, eyes alight with shock and terror as he looked at her. She watched as he sat down next to her and held her close to his chest.
She could barely hear Cole yelling to call backup before everything drowned out, falling into a silent black abyss as he finally succumbed to her exhaustion.
