Chapter 9: Familiar Bonds in Danzig

Danzig, Poland

We arrive at Danzig in the occupied territory of Poland under the control of Iron Blood after our mission victory against the Northern Parliament at Finland. I didn't have a chance to relax because one of the kansens named August is holding my arm for some reason while she is staring at me with a smile on her face.

August: "Ready to go my familiar?"

I'm confuse of what she just said while Graf Zeppelin sigh and told me that she called anyone she see attractive her familiar so that means I'm getting hit on, but I don't know any ships that was named August von Parseval except the designer of airships at the early 1920s and died in the early of 1940s. She drag me out and notice Tirptiz arrive with her fleet after she finish her mission near the coast of Denmark and notice me been hold by Tirpitz which I can see her pouting face which makes it cute.

Tirpitz: "August? What are you doing to my pilot?"

August(tease): "I'm going to spend time with my familiar since he's a pilot and I'm a carrier so it makes sense."

Tirpitz: "He's under my command August and we need to return to Norway for our next mission."

August: "That would be a no since it was Bismarck's orders that he is going to deploy with me for this special mission."

Me and Tirpitz didn't learn about this special mission, but August didn't say anything and drag me to her carrier where there's a fleet waiting for her to finish with her loading up before departure. I ask August where we're going.

August: "We're going to the Middle East to support our allies in Iraq."

 We learn that the government was overthrown by our supporters and request support against Azur Lane coming from Occupied Syria. That sounds familiar to the ones that we have in our world. We build a Legion to help our Middle Eastern allies fighting against the Allies and even recruit spies to help us. I jump inside August while I continue to stare at Tirpitz who is worry about me which I wave good-bye and promise that I come back to her once I'm done with August.

August: "Don't worry; I won't take your boyfriend away from you."

Tirpitz was shock with red blush and say that I'm not her boyfriend, but that sounds like a dagger stab me in the chest and she notice that too which makes her sad, but hopefully we can fix that in the future, but right now we need to support our allies in the Middle East.

Queen Elizabeth POV

We got words that a large fleet of Iron Blood ships left their port and heading toward the Atlantic Ocean, but the question is where are they going, but this is a golden opportunity for us to strike against them. I assembled my Inner Circle for a meeting excluding Hood because she require medical attention after fighting against Bismarck and Prinz Eugen. Everyone arrive within seconds later and now the meeting has commence.

QE: "We got words that Iron Blood has send a fleet of warships leaving the Baltic and making their way to the Atlantic."

Wales(angry): "IS TIRPITZ WITH THEM?"

I shake my head which displease Wales which I don't blame her because we're focus our efforts to deal with Bismarck's sister after making us look bad by defeating Hood. We also got words from the Northern Parliament that the Gray Fox will be deploying with the fleet. The Gray Fox was the codename we give to our new enemy that is helping Iron Blood to defend Finland. We got photos from our spies in the Iron Blood base.

QE: "The Gray Fox is with them. We change our top objective of capturing this Fox before they depart toward the sea."

The girls agree with my orders and I select Prince of Wales and Warspite to capture the Gray Fox while destroying the enemy fleet. I look at the list of ships that is in the fleet which only one carrier is with them.

QE: "Her name is August von Parseval. If Gray Fox is with her fleet than he will be holding with her. We're going to teach him a lesson for messing with our operation that would end Tirpitz's life."

Port, Royal Navy Base
Prince of Wales POV

After finish with planning with our operations with our kansens; I was making my way to my ship with determine to fix my mistake by capturing the Gray Fox and teach him a lesson for messing with the Royal Navy. I notice Suffolk and Norfolk standing near their ships which is be my and ready for action.

Suffolk: "We're ready Lady Wales."

Wales: "Good; we're going to capture a fox."

The two is confuse until they notice what I'm saying and nod before heading to their ship. Once I got on board of my ship; everyone depart from the port and making route to the Baltic to intercept the enemy fleet and capture the Fox.

August's Ship, Baltic Sea
Fredrick POV

We're about to exit the Baltic Sea and making our way to the Atlantic until alarm is going off which I notice a large fleet of planes heading for our direction. I grab my scope and notice the British circles on the side of the plane.

Fredrick(shout): "ROYAL NAVY!"

August(angry): "Looks like someone is impatience. Launch all fighters and deploy AA guns. Be careful Weber; I have a bad feeling about this."

She isn't the only one; I have a feeling those planes didn't come from airfield, but a group of carriers. Looks like the Royal Navy isn't going to make things easy for us. The Battle of the Baltic has begun.
